RoxBox

Hi all,
I’m relatively new to Roxette, so forgive me for asking what could be a dumb question.
What’s the “RoxBox” about? I’m assuming it’s a planned release of a Roxette Boxset... or perhaps Boxette :-) Any ideas as to what it might include.. From what I’ve heard, it’s not been decided upon by EMI, so any suggestions as to the kinds of songs/videos/whatever that could be on there will be appreciated :-)
thanks!

joyrider, what on earth are you talking about? I don’t think a ’box’ would mean an 8-track CD - hello! I believe the set would include live performances (now there could be 10 CDs of qualified material), remixes, demos, unreleased stuff (there has got to be more), re-recordings with different arrangements (could give you a lecture :) and possibly (very likely) the entire mtv unplugged...but I expect this to hit the shop shelves in 15 or so. ;)

a GT box was 5 CD’s... but a Rox Box would include like 7 albums, don’t you think that would be to expensive?

Too expensive? LOL. There’s no price on good, rare Roxette material. Haha. I would pay a fortune for a good 10-15 CD Boxette! ;)
I think what should happen at least is release a Boxette covering certain years. For example, maybe the first 10 years - 1986 to 1996. Then another one in 2006 covering 1996 to 2006. ;) Release the first Boxette later this year! That way we won’t have to wait around till Roxette retire (how many more years from now) to get our hands on some of this rare material. I’m impatient! Aren’t we all?
But these of course are only dreams. So I think we can all continue dreaming.
However, I did notice that Capitol is issuing a 13-CD box set of Duran Duran’s singles from 1981 to 1985. Hopefully they will take a hint with Roxette and do something like this.

isnt it a bit late to relase a rox box when their fan base has shrunk> it =’s no profits for emi at all

Fans would pay anything for a boxset. I paid 300$ for my Queen boxset and it only included their 1st 8 CDs.

@ coyboyusa
Let me ask you would it really have been wiser to release it, say, in 1992?

i think this project is gone because of TBH (incl. unreleased) and TPH (incl. u.) ...
