there’s a new program out there. it’s called evolution p2p and it works the same way that audiogalaxy. anyway it has many problems (it has few users, the main page to download the program never works, and it takes a lot to download anything and even took me up to 2 days for the program to allow me to register). but if you want to give it a try you can find it here:

and then download the file named setup.exe
if everybody starts to use this program we could make it as bigger as audiogalaxy, but anyway it needs to improve a lot.
ps: i know this subject is off-topic but most people here never go to that section, sorry about that.

there’s great p2p, i’m using it since july of 2002, and it gets better and better.
there are not as many songs as ag had, but anyway, i’m always finding what i’m searchin for.

Well, KaZaA has now developed to be the p2p software most people use. Basically you can find anything with it. The new 2.1 edition has some very good features to provide users with better search results.

@pietro: most people say kazaa is better but everytime I search a “hard to get” song with kazaa I never find anything, but at the same time a get some results with winmx (to me is by far better than kazaa).
anyway I prefer programs like audiogalaxy because you find all songs (including those from users that are not online at the moment) and don’t have to be searching over and over till someone appears with the song you are looking for.

Kazaa does have spyware in it, but Kazaa Lite doesn’t have any in it. Pietro kindly provided the link above.
