what do you think about this song?

it’s a great ballad, i love.

i think it is one of ten ballads more marvellous of Roxette.

i love it!
better than Jefferson

one of their best ballads! should have been a single!

a single? I think too, It´s marvellous, the first time I heard it, my body quivered

javi:same thing happened to me...i hadnt felt that feeling since CBB song :o)

mmm its weird.. this is my least fav song with “MMHGP” from RS...

reminds me of Roxette’s old ballad such as IMHBL and LTYH.

I used to like it alot, but now i’m not so sure. There are better.......

It’s nice and different. But Marie’s vocals aren’t very strong...
I remember when some critic claimed that the song isn’t really finished: but if they’d produced it any further, it would have been another power-ballad...And didn’t Per say they didn’t want any power-ballads on Room Service? Yes, he did. :)

yea the song would be better with just acoustic or piano... it seems a bit messy...or noisy..dunno an its not maries gr8test vocals either :(

My favorite song from Room Service
It was the “only” one track I liked the first time I heard, as did “many” HAND tracks.

For me has a perfect production, it could have been one of best Roxette song but for the chorus taht after “...try to close my eyes” becomes weak.

its too repetitious the openign verse is amazing...but as per said he wrote a dozen or so wish i could fly-like songs and this is obviously one of them...if there is any song on that album that needs different prodouction its Little Girl..the opening is just annyoning and maries delivery at the beginning is unemotional it gets better tho...would like an abbey road version of this song alot

The song seems to go nowhere. It just fades away instead of having an end worth remembering.

VIVA ROOM SERVICE.... VIVA ROXETTE .... I love Little Miss sorrow

“yea the song would be better with just acoustic or piano... it seems a bit messy...or noisy..dunno an its not maries gr8test vocals either :(“

I agree. I think it’s one of the best songs on the album, however. But the production does sound like it could have been richer and brighter - like with HAND. It sounds a bit noisy, like you said. I would love to hear a piano or acoustic version. I think that would really bring out the song more so.

a great song, wasted by a bad recording

I agree with you Ferdan. If they had recorded it as a rock ballad, it would have been a sucessful single

Great ballad indead always one of my big favorites from RS but it’s too short and the arrangements are so limited. That’s why i also agree with the fact that the song was not really that well recorded. Jonas does a nice job on his guitar at the intro of it... the same chors performed lived in 1991 for SMT on the swiss concert i saw on TV... beautiful...

I still love those intrumental breaks in the middle with the sythns and then with strings... don’t like the drum machine that much... but the melody goes beyond that that’s why i love it!

The best ballad Roxette has made.
Very,Very good!
This song is the proof that roxette is still a top-team in the music-world!
So I seem to disagree with most of the people here, who think it is not so good.

Maybe my favourite Roxette ballad ever... I especially love the way Marie practically whispers the chorus at the end of the song... her vocal control on this one is amazing, if it had been recorded in 1988 she probably would have just started wailing at the end.

One of my fav ballads ever :)

There’s a tiny bit of Marie’s vocals in ’Making Love To You’ where she sounds similar to what she does in ’My World...’. I think the songs is good album closer - nothing much to brag about...

.... Should have been a single... EVERYONE I know here that has heard it, loves it! They could’ve made a really nice video for this... I would have substituted it for “Milk...”.

I like it but it sounds a bit “unfinished” to me. like a demo (-;
