hmm unfortuantley theres a bit too much rap on this album for me and some place i belong is like a 2nd rate version of in the end i have to listen to the album again but i don’t think my opinion is gonna change

Linkin Park is just OKAY, not the greatest band out there. They are not cool, not edgy, not more than somewhat inventive new wave-ish rap metal. “In The End” was OK, but overplayed, and in no way is it a classic. Overrated band really.
One thing I don’t like about bands like LP, not that it’s their fault or anything, it’s their audience!! If say you go to a party and someone puts their CD on, people accept them, cuz they know the band, that they are popular, that’s it, and they are embraced by the so-called jocks. However, if you put them on in 1999, when their first album came out, the same people wouldn’t want to hear them cuz they never heard the band before. Now they do cuz the music is FAMILIAR!! I hate that!! Be adventurous people!! LP is just OK, there are better bands out there...

Sure, LP is better than all other rap-metal bands, and yes they have detail and 80s new wave influences, but honestly, they are just OK, my taste, that’s all. They’re not POWERPOP enough. The best music is NOT embraced by the masses, as commercial music is dumbed down, yet LP is not exactly stupid, but it seems many stupid people (not you boykie). and tendhopping teens and jocks embrace the band, which ruins their appeal.
Supposedly, they are like a boyband in metal clothing, created by their producer, but that could be just a rumour, and if that is so, their credibility is immediately tossed out the window...

this copy right shit is so dumb.. all these so called copy right protected albums find their way on the net... an the ppl that actually do buy the album r stuck with shit quality..

Well then I’m tempted to send it back as it does not clearly state that it is copy protected whereas Pop Hits does (as it happens it plays fine LOL) , in which case I know I would know its not gonna work I think it has more to do with the extra features rather than any copy protection.
