i don’t think i like this new version. i can see it’s prepared to be a pop song, but original one was better. this guitar in new one. it should be louder, and it’s without reverb what makes sound this song so stupid :)
imho:
per’s voice. i think it is taken from the original recording. of course it’s digitally remestered and electronically changed, but per sings every word in the same way like in original.
solo wasn’t re-recorded for sure. it’s the old one.
there is no underwater singing - what a pity, it was nice effect.
drums don’t sound like real. marie adds nothing to the song...
on the other hand we have some scratching sounds and funny “pops” but i mark this song... let me give 6 points out of 10 for new stupid. just if you wanna compare - twatg version is 9.5/10

I like the TWATG version better... no reason in slowly down by 1/2. *shrugs*

i was quite disappointed with this new version actually ’cause it sounds so much like the older version, and yes, i was expecting marie, but i guess she couldn’t partipate because of the cancer :-/
