Per is not a party-cat...

...according to the newest number of swedish magazine Amelia.
There are lots of lists about famous swedish people and Per is nr 4. on a list called “The weet dream of Party-fixers. Person who are invited very often but usually don´t come.”
They write that Per is shy like a “gun-shy dog” and if he comes to a party which happens rarely he´s just slurping an ice cube from his drink and looking at the floor. And he doesn´t want to speak anyone and if someone is trying to make a conversation he/she will expose her/ himself to the worst small talk ever.
There is pic in the magazine too with this text:”Give me an ice-cube!”
What a stupid article , isn´t it?

Unrfortunately you can´t find it on the net.
The magazine has a homepage , ( www.amelia.se) but they has only some articles there, not everything.
And I have no scanner either. You can only find it in the shops here in Sweden.
The pic is about 2-3 years old, so maybe you´ve seen it already.

LOL Maybe it is cuz during his last 20 years he has been invited to too many parties and he is a bit tired of them? ;)
Besides that, who wants to go to a party where you are only invited “cuz it looks cool” to have all those famous people around?

I agree.
I also think that Per doesn´t like that he´s invited because he´s Per from Roxette and everybody wants to talk to him because he´s Per from Roxette and so on.
I am sure he wants to be with his family and friends , with people who love or like him, because of his personality , and not because he is famous.
It can´t be so great to talk to people who only wants to talk to you ´cos they want to tell everyone that they met Per Gessle....

Absolutely!! Those people at the parties are not his friends or family. He’s normal just like us, would you want to be used like that?? I’m sure not. I wouldn’t, it’s like a business function where you’re important. You don’t want to feel OBLIGATED to go, but because you want to or you’d feel comfortable there.

I think people at auch parties are mostly such “wannaby famous” people. Per doesn’t really beling there, he is not a “Wannabe”, he is the Master of Fame and Glory himself...

Per a little home bird, would much prefer to stay at hom with the family, and who can blame him, partys and getting drunk stink. Good on yer Per keep up the good work!!

Oh well dears...
Me and my husband spend enough fun moments together that he is never interested in going to parties. He’d rather stay home with me. He is not interested in drinking much either as he’s probably been drinking enough in his Gyllene Tider-Single years. I don’t see a point for a 44-year old man to be a party-goer or a party-cat as you kids these days call it.
