the song is just stuck in my head! it’s soooo great!! it would have been the best uptempo rox song if not the sucky lyrics :) it got so much energy! i’m going MAD! HELP ME!

Yeah, it’s the most catchy Roxette song. It might be a hit across Europe (except in UK because the lyrics don’t make any sense to English speaking people).

I agree about the sucky lyrics - but then most of the up-tempo roxette tracks have sucky lyrics that make no real sense over a whole song. Maybe Per realised it worked with The Look and kept it that way ... :) Anyway, ON rocks! I was going to say rox but i think Per copywrited that ...

i don’t know... i like the SIMC lyrics... while not close to the quality of the ballads they are enjoyable. but ON hjave more energy :) i like the guitars :)

gargar - see what you mean about SIMC, but even that falls foul to the old Gessle-grammar. Still, not AS much as SDLHA (’gone since long’ indeed!). Still mighty fine stuff, though!

nice idea about it being about a fan, but isn’t that hanging a theory on just one line, namely “I saw you in the crowd in the front row”? From there they want to disco, where the fan danced in slow-mo ... Hmmm Could just be another case of Per rhyming words as a guide for his guitar playing rather than the song actually being about anything specific. Not that that detracts from it’s infernal ’catchyness’.

i really don’t see whats wrong with the lyrics, i quite like ’em. As dizzydaleks said alot of Rox’s uptempo songs have weird lyrics - the look had some really strange ones but it was one of their biggest hits.
