That’s really cool!!!
The peak for Room Service was No. 80, if I remember well...

#80!!!!!???? That low?
Wow so then that “The Ballad Hits” is at #39 is a HUGE step up, isnt it?
mdekort said on February 5, 2003 14:46:
Yeah a huge step.
It seams that the advertisements are paying off!!! Let’s hope it will also be for the Rerelease of ATAY and ON!

Incredible what just a tiny bit of promotion will do, eh? I think this is the best example I’ve ever seen... an album out for more than 4 months suddenly debuts in the top 100 at #39... who knows how well Roxette could do in other countries if Capitol threw just a little bit of money at promoting them?! Oh right, number 1, like every album hits in the Swedish charts...

But what effect will this have on the release of ON and TPH??
japeke said on February 5, 2003 15:20:
COOOOOOOOOOL!!! That’s good news... Is there also an advertisement in Free charts????
m-cvk said on February 5, 2003 18:20:
Hej alla!
Today I heard a TBH commercial on Sky Radio, and not one but three times!!!!
Furthermore I heard WICF and ATAY (on the same radio station).
The promotion has finally started! :-)

I hope they continue the commercials for at least a couple of weeks. I remember when there was a commercial for HAND a couple of years ago. The album entered the charts. When the commercial wasn’t shown anymore after two weeks, the albums instantly dropped from the charts...
m-cvk said on February 5, 2003 19:52:
Yeah, commercials and promotion are very, very important for artists (and products). If the right channels (communication) are used, people remember it more and will be influenced by what they have seen/heard.
TV and radio are very important channels...I’m glad that they are being used right now for Roxette :-)

Wow! Great! I think a lot of people remember the old Roxette balads. Most of the Dutch people must have forgotten Roxette, but now they’ll remember them.
It’s so great to see Roxette promotion on tv and hear it on the radio. go ROXETTE!

Zanderico said on February 6, 2003 15:03:
It would be typical EMI / Capitol to start a big promo campaign without pressing extra cd’s.... Say more then the regular 2000 :-P

They made new CD’s...now they have the version without EP
