still seeking "Salvation" demo
JMiykal said on January 26, 2003 06:59:
Wow. I see so few familiar names here. Guess I’ve been gone an awfully long time.
I have been searching, for a couple of years now, for the elusive “Salvation” demo. My WebFerret finds results at “www.roxette.2000.ru”, but IE doesn’t actually *find* the page that WebFerret evidently thinks is there. That page mentioned a Salvation demo coming out on an upcoming single... but I can *never* find it anyplace. Does anyone have it???
And, hey, if anybody recognizes me, drop a reply and let me know how you’re doing! I still see Lars busy here, but no MFan, no RB, no Carlos, no Buckster... let me know w’zup, y’all! :) Peace...

Hey! I’m still here! I spend more time browsing than actual posting. Nice to see you around again.

Hmm... CoyBoy seems to have something up his sleeve. To my knowledge, my fellow fan, *most* of the demos I have were never officially released. As I understand it, some angry somebody with access went and set them free to the world like Pandora’s box, and they’ve been impossible to stamp out since then.
I was *hoping* Per sang it – I *love* the ones where he demoed it and she finished it – it’s like two totally different songs. I guess the question, then, for our knowledgeable friend, is... do you know where I can get it?? E/M me at [email protected] with any info. With that one song, I think my collection will be pretty well complete.
As for being “back”... we’ll see what happens. :)

I think I mentioned to somebody, we were having to move to a different part of the state when I last was here. Well, we’ve moved, though it’s been expensive and drawn-out. My father’s health has improved in the specific area that had us so worried, but is still slowly and steadily declining overall. I’m on my third job in the last year and a half, but finally have things like medical insurance and stuff. :) I have a good, but very busy, life here. I’m not sure how much time I’ll spend hanging out at TDR – we’ll see whether things lighten up in the future. It *is* good to see all the enthusiasm here, though. :)

Hey!
I’m glad to hear that things are better for you. Hope it stays like that and gets even better.
Yeah, you posted a message saying you’d have to move. I remember that well. :-) !!
Keep coming back to TDR whenever you can.
Take care friend!!!
Remember, never give up! Be persistent!

@Coyboyusa: But you also didn’t say you don’t have it.
So now again, a YES or NO question: Do you have got it?
Roxrider_USA said on February 3, 2003 00:01:
Probably because Per sings most of the demos.

And lately not “most demos”, but all demos. I could have guessed that too :D
m-cvk said on February 3, 2003 10:47:
Well, the demo of Perfect Day was sung by Marie. Per once said about PD “I couldn’t sing it on the demo so Marie does” :-)
JMiykal said on February 4, 2003 07:43:
Wow, I didn’t know I was going to start such a lively discussion and learn so little. :P
I’m assuming, then, that nobody who’s replied has actually heard the thing. Did anybody buy that single (see first post)?
If I get time over the next few days I’ll do some digging myself... but since I’ve been gone for so long, all this stuff about new music is totally new to me. Is this album *out* somewhere in the world?
coyboyusa said on February 4, 2003 17:09:
i read once that per said he sung the demo for salvation and like other ballads they had done they realized it didnt suit him..
Paul said on February 4, 2003 19:49:
All ballads really suits him in my opinion.
The demos with PG is better than the album versions with Marie on vox.
PG really Rox.
cskendras said on February 4, 2003 20:07:
some ballads fit him very well but others don’t...though that’s a matter of taste
JMiykal said on February 8, 2003 08:26:
Hmm... trying to keep the thread fresh, as in, on the first page... after all, we have, what, hundreds? Possibly a thousand people that come in and out of here... and *no one* has this demo? If anybody’s got any ideas, please let me know. :)

I want it too. Cos I like this song very much! I hope Marie could sing it such as Sleep Single.
