How awful – they’re really gone!

Just look at the recent chart positions – I have an archive of positions which is so awful to see – in countries that room service reached #1, the ballad hits is only reaching #15… enjoy it – for this is the end. This is such a sad thing because it’s only now that I feel like a real roxette fan but I’m unable to even get the new CD – like almost every UK/ US/ Japanese / Australian (in fact, everywhere with a population of over 5 million! – with the exception of Sweden)

Germanys population is 90 Million and you can get Roxette CD’s there. Roxette is still very successful there. They have even played a huge part of the European Tour in Germany, where the Fans celebrated them even more than in the Joyride Era. If Roxette would have the sucess they have got in Germany as much in every other country over the world, they would be the wolrds best selling artists...

1. We are only 80million Germans
2. For most of the Room Service Shows in Germany they sold only half of the capacity of the hall. In Dortmund and Oberhausen it was only a third!
3. If Roxette here in Germany is as big as you wrote, why don’t they play the videos on television? And why didn’t the Ballad Hits reach the Top 5?

I think Small-talker didn’t say wrong at all.
Although Roxette have been to China 7 years Before, I’m sure that not many people in our country know them or remember them.
The evidence is that there is still no clue of Roxette’s “new album” -The Ballad Hits.
If they could take a week to do some promotion in China when they released Have A Nice Day and Room Service. Things would never be the same in China. Just going to four cities of our country, Shanghai, Beijing, GuangZhou, Hongkong, the population of them add up to more than 40 million. Being the wolrds best selling artists is just a piece of cake.
In fact Chinese people are very easily to accept foreign music nowadays. A few years ago, Chinese people never spent Christmas holidays, now we celebrate it and enjoy it very much. Every music shop is selling many foreign CDs.
I find : Japanese and South Korean artists did very well in this way. They pay much attention on China market when they know they can earn much more here than in their home. I’m sure our peolpe know English far better than Japanese or korean. Even we don’t know a word of them, they took advantage of any kinds of promotion to make us loving theirs. Finally I have to say they successed though I hate them. Michael Learn To Rock is a good example, just a short concert in Shanghai last year. The advantise of them concert could be seen everywhere in a big city full with 16 million people, All the tickets had been sold out before they arrived in China. Every local Radio and TV was playing their songs. Many their albums having not been imported were imported and the current a complication album sold gold here. which recalled me of the same, no, the more hot situation during Roxette’s 95 Beijing Concert. Roxette is much greater than MLTR. They can make a bigger bomb in our city if they try.
After 7 days, It’s the real new year for our Chinese, the Spring Festival. I hope Marie will be all right and Roxette could come here once again in the new year. This is my new year’s wish. Of course it’s better to find The Ballad Hits here in the first day of next year in 1 February.
