Is it true, that Marie once tried to kill herself?

I have heard somewhere lately, that Marie tried to commit suicide, shortly after the Joyride Tour, because she was this MegaStar but really lonely and couldn’t cope with all the huge success. That she fell into major depression after the tour and then tried to kill herself?? I know, this is a sensitive topic, and I would understand if it would get removed soon. It is just, that I am wondering about that, and would like to know, if that is really true?

What do you mean, that is because they don’t go to the doctor? Going to the Doctor because of what? Because of the depression? And then it got that bad, that you would try to kill yourself?

never heard of that, but as I have read some materials about the state Marie was in after the Join The Joyride tour I suppose it can be true... sadly... thanks God (although i don’t like that phrase, it’s the most exact one I can think of to express some thoughts I have), lately she met her (future then) husband , made a family and got her life in more positive direction.

no meant that 1 in 7 men get depression, compared to 1 in 5 wpmen, becouse men are less likely to go to the doctor. thats why its a lower figure.

As a know even she had thoughts about suicade she didn´t try it, only a friend of hers who died.
Marie wrote a song about it : Ett enda liv( Only one life)
At least Marie said it in a swedish interview.

And I just had a thought, didn’t Marie meet her husband at the end of the Joyride Tour in Australia? Well, if they fell madly in love at the end of that Tour, why should she have wanted to kill herself...

I do think Marie is great and I do think that she has got some amazing Power. She is the greatest Star ever, I love her Music, she is the best songwriter in the World! I do admire her talent, her professionalism, her skills. She is simply amazing!

We have another thread about Marie’s wedding and some people criticize the person who started it saying oh it’s non of our business or talking about privacy issues. sorry, i’m not annoyed by those topics, but i can’t stand this sensationizing of those curious topics. I think it’s too private and not our business...just look at some magazines...when we first heard about maries illness all the newspapers wrote many articles about it and in some articles you had the intention that marie was dead!!! so i can’t hear negative topics anymore and many of you will agree...:-( what shall marie think of if she reads all those topics here in times she needs a lot of support from us?!

in 92, after the join the joyride tour, Marie gave the lyrics to a friend who said to marie that ’it feels like you’re going to kill yoursel!f’. maybe all the rumours have something to do with this, because, according to marie, in an interview, this was really NEVER the meaning with the lyrics (esp. the lyrics to the song ’den ständiga resan).

About the siucide thingie:
When you are listening to “DSR” album you really could come to the “idea” that she was sometimes thinking about jumping out of the window.
Esp. when you are listening to “den där novemberdan”, puhh!
It’s such a dark song...:-(

i had already forgotten about it. :-
well, what i know ( i think she said it in an interview once), is, that during that time two close friends of her died and at least one of them comitted suicide, i’m not too sure about the other one.
anyway it’s barely believable what marie has had to take in her life:
her sister’s dead, her father’s dead, her mother’s illness, her friends’ dead, her after-toor depressions, her illness now...
this is enough for at least three lives, isn’t it?

i heard once something like that. she was suppost to have had very bad depression. 1 in 5 women are likely to get depression. were 1 in 7 men are. and thats becouse dont go to the docters.
