Some good news:
A friend of mine (who is also a “new” fan - ie. we both forgot about Roxette from 1994 onwards, until I saw It Must Have Been Love on TV last year) recently heard A Thing About You on BBC Radio 2.

She works in a café, where the radio is played all day, and managed to hear the song twice last week. [I can’t remember what day it was, but I think it was a Tuesday and a Wednesday]

Naturally, she was the only person in the café to realise that:
1. Roxette isn’t “the woman’s name”.
2. Roxette didn’t break up after It Must Have Been Love

With airplay on BBC Radio, EMI UK must be doing something right. Still, I think The Pop Hits would have been great over the Christmas/New Year party season, and The Ballad Hits for St. Valentine’s Day in February - in Europe, that is, as EMI UK are doing it my way ;-)
