clerk said on January 13, 2003 07:56:
I actually liked the japanese version of the Ring,
haven’t seen the american version yet.
@Twilight-Ghost: I saw Ginger Snaps, I agree, it’s a fun movie, too bad not many people know it.
I think The Shining from Kubrick is still fantastic...
Did anyone see The Audition?...
Twilight-Ghost said on January 13, 2003 14:53:
@Clerk:
Yes, I know. Ginger Snaps is good. Did you find the opening credits scary? It looked real. That movie was fun. It is scary and yet funny, similar to the TV show ’Buffy’.
What did you think of the ending? Don’t you think it was a bit sad?
Another thing I love about that movie is the sombre musical score by Michael Shields, that I actually emailed the owner of one of the GS websites where to get or download the music.
I haven’t seen ’The Shining’ or ’The Audition’ but I’m going to, from what I’ve gathered we have the same taste in movies.
I also posted something about your comments in ’Best Movie You’ve Ever Seen’.
clerk said on January 14, 2003 11:22:
@Twilight-ghost: Yeah the ending was a bit sad, but it was the right ending for this movie, a happy ending would have spoiled it for me.
Can’t remember the soundtrack though...It’s been a while since I saw it..
I really like Buffy aswell...Sarah M. is great...
Twilight-Ghost said on January 14, 2003 14:33:
@Clerk: Actually, the musical score of the film wasn’t even in the soundtrack of Ginger Snaps that’s why I emailed the webmaster of the GS site where to get it. The music I’m talking about is the music in the opening credit, closing credit and sometimes you hear it in the middle of the movie.
Anyway, another good horror film is ’The Others’ and ’Sixth Sense’. The first time I saw ’Sixth Sense’ I was shock. ’The Others’ is sort of similar but with a different level of perspective on ghosts.
I like ghosts movies because it’s scary, sometimes I like teen horror because it’s scary and funny, I like vampire movies because it’s sexy.
clerk said on January 14, 2003 14:57:
@Twilight-ghost: The Others is one of my favorite films, I think Nicole is really great in this movie. And the kids are good aswell. Did you see his other movies aswell? Tesis and Abre los Ojos.
Abre los Ojos is much better than Vanilla Sky...
I think teen horror is sexy, especially I know what you did last summer!!
Twilight-Ghost said on January 15, 2003 16:59:
You’re right!!! ’The Others’ is a good horror film.
Nicole Kidman is a good actress. Even the kids are good, especially that little girl.
The name of the children in the movie are ’Nicholas’ and ’Anne’ (Nic and An).
Nicole’s real life sister is called ’Antonia’. So, Nicole and her sister could be called as ’Nic’ and ’An’ as well.
Just a thought. What a coincidence.
clerk said on January 16, 2003 10:31:
I also think funny that nicole wasn’t too happy about the movie, cause it made her look bad as a mother. And most people think this is one of her best...
But I think she’s really good, I also liked Dead Calm and Bangkok Hilton.

Did you know there is going to be a Ginger Snaps “Sequel” and “Prequel”???
http://www.ginger-snaps.com/sequels.htm
clerk said on February 3, 2003 07:56:
That’s interesting!! I think the prequel can be much fun, cause it will be focused on the death-obsession that these girls have. So I’m very curious... let’s hope they will be as good as the original! Must say that I’m not a big fan of sequels though, only a few are worth watching. But I’m gonna watch out for these two...:)
Twilight-Ghost said on February 3, 2003 14:33:
I’m not fond of sequels either. But who knows maybe it’ll be good.
I can’t wait to see the prequel as well.
Denstandigaresan said on February 3, 2003 19:17:

kachina008 said on October 27, 2003 15:41:
interview with a vampire. altho, it isnt a “horror” movie, but i mean, tom cruise, brad pitt, and antonio banderas as vampires...YUMMY
Queen of the damned SUCKED. I was so disappointed with it, coz it seemed tht the movie was made just for those Goth fans. they completely massacred the book :(
Has anyone seen “the ninth gate” with johnny depp? good movie. scary too
zaine said on October 27, 2003 17:31:
the others was kinda boring I thought. So was Blair witch. saw that last night, and wasn’t as good as I’d told it would be. One of my fave horror films is the texas chainsaw massacre. Such a low budget and old film, but still had everything in it!! I love the beginning when the bloke in the wheelchair rolled down the hill! harsh, but I was in hysterics!!
One of the scariest films that sticks out in my mind though is Fantasia! What was up with the obsessed dancing broomsticks?!
xuxa said on October 27, 2003 21:05:
