@ the above post...
According to the Ultimate Roxette Discography (http://ultimate.roxette.org), the “U.S. Remix - Long Version” does exist. Take a look:

So “Listen To Your Heart (Remix)” is, I assume, the “Long Version” which is exactly the same as the Video Version, minus the audience of course.

’Listen To Your Heart (Saxaphone Version)’ is also known as ’Listen To Your Heart (U.S. Remix - AC Mix).’ It’s exactly the same as the ’U.S. Remix’ except for the saxaphone replacing the electric guitar in the climax of the song.
The U.S. remix is cool, in my opinion, but I’ll go for the original version (or Swedish Single Edit) for the electric guitar! Sounds better! But that saxophone has got to go! What was EMI America thinking? There’s plenty of late 80s tracks with heavy guitar that got airplay on AC stations back in 1989. Then again, EMI America was obsessed with remixing Roxette back then too!

Yeah, it’s played quite often here. You’re not missing anything.

The worst part is that it’s not even a real saxophone, but a synthesizer one...

i’ve heard once a version of IMHBL in harmonica,it’s very nice :)
sweepi said on December 29, 2002 19:34:
Just one tiny doubt: the US remix (or US mix, both refer to the one same version, right?) is the version that’s used in the video of LTYH, right? (At least that’s what I was told once...) Hmm... And what about that AC mix then, that “Saxophone” version as you guys call it, does it actually appear on any record? Coz curiously I just heard it on a radio here (Portugal) the other day and, as having never heard it before, was just going to ask Santi’s question myself...
wendy said on December 29, 2002 20:48:
No,i meant Panflute or so ,not harmonica :p
sorry....well,it was beautiful :)
spacedog said on December 29, 2002 21:43:
Isn’t the video version of LTYH called “Swedish Single Mix”? Oh dear, all those names... ;)
Alfonsette said on December 29, 2002 21:50:
I’m sharing in “KaZaA” that version with the saxophon instead of the electric guitar, download it
mon-ami said on December 29, 2002 23:43:

Alfonsette said on December 30, 2002 00:28:
Sorry I was not connected, but I’m sharing it (when I’m connected)

As far as I know, the “Saxophone Version” as it’s called only appears on the U.S. AC radio promo. But I suppose it’s likely it has found its way on other promos as well. As for an actual commercial release, I don’t think there ever was one for the “Saxaphone Version.” As much as Marie and Per dislike that version, it would be a nice inclusion on a future “rarities” set.
The “Listen To Your Heart (Video Version)” (meaning the clip featured on the DVD) is the same version as the “U.S. Remix.” It is of course not the “AC Mix (Saxaphone Version).” However, to be really specific (lol), it’s actually the “U.S. Remix - Long Edit” since, unlike the version that’s played on most U.S. stations (U.S. Remix - Short Edit), it’s not edited after the “before you tell him good-bye” when the song drops after the climax and before it picks up again. Too hard to explain. Probably nobody got that. Of course for those who have heard the different versions, you would notice.
Also I was browsing at the Ultimate Roxette Discography and noticed that an “Orchestral Version” of “Listen To Your Heart” was available on a vinyl release. Anybody ever hear this?
wendy said on December 30, 2002 10:02:
It’s from a Love song collection, yeps, but all the songs are played with the panflute :)
tevensso (moderator) said on December 30, 2002 10:41:
The Orchestral Version was available on the Swedish promo 12”. It ends with Marie singing together with a string (orchestra) arrangement. It’s rather beautiful and powerful, but too short.
AntiMario said on January 1, 2003 11:02:
AC Version is actually absolutely the same as Remix-Short Version with esxception of saxophone part of course. So NOT U.S. Remix - Long version (which doesn’t exist at all). Check once again.
coyboyusa said on January 2, 2003 11:40:
the sax remix also appears on the japanese mini disc single for ltyhh
AntiMario said on January 3, 2003 05:49:
You’re right but the title doesn’t say it’s “Remix - Long Version” only “Remix” (unlike the situation with Dangerous Power Mixes).
The Remix is just the another name of U.S. Remix, so I’m right here in some way. :)
Mfan28179-Jason said on January 3, 2003 06:10:
LOL. Well, I didn’t think it was an issue of wrong or right. :p Just something I noticed. ;)
sweepi said on January 5, 2003 17:54:
So let me see if I got it straight. The version used in the video for LTYH (that one with Marie doing “uuuuuh” yet during the instrumental intro!) is then, as I had that once been told, the “US remix” ... which on turn can also be named as “US remix - long edit” or yet simply “remix”... all “descriptions” referring to the one same version of the song... correct?
Mfan28179-Jason said on January 6, 2003 04:32:
Yes, Sweepi, I do believe that’s correct.
By the way, I love that “ooooh” that Marie does in the intro to the “U.S. Remix.” ;)
sweepi said on January 6, 2003 11:46:
@Mfan28179-Jason: Don’t I too? *sigh* That “uuuuuh” was the one reason why I was keeping my hopes that this time that version might get its turn and would be the one on TBH... But again (after DBU EU edition and DBU US edition) it didn’t. :( Oh well... Maybe it’ll make it to “Rarities II”? :P Wish so much to have this version on album... *sigh again*

alfonsette...can you email me a timewhen you will be on kazaa so i can download it from you...i am reached through [email protected]. thanks much
Mfan28179-Jason said on January 7, 2003 04:31:
Sweepi, yes, I was also having my hopes that the U.S. Remix would make it’s way on an album just for that part - and of course for a remastered version! I think it really gives the song an extra push.
I guess we’ll have to wait for a future release!

Does anyone have or has listened to and can tell us how it was or can share it that version of Listen to Your Heart used in American Radio Stations that used a saxophon for the solo instead of the electric guitar?
Per talks about it in Kupé interview, I think.
