DO THEY KNOW ITS XMAS! i love that songy! but i had the other version with kylie minogue, jason donovan, bros, boy george etc i think the band was called BAND AID but it wasnt 84 i think it was later ...like early 90s...

Yes it was Band Aid II in ‘89 or ‘90.
Did u see Madonna in Live Aid in ‘85? She was marvellous! One of her best live shows ever I think. She became a super star at that time.
vaxjoe said on December 22, 2002 10:59:
no i havent seen that...hey i was only 9 years old in 85 :p
did u hear that elton john said that “die another day” song was the worst james bond anthem ever? :( i hope her new album is more like ray of light. u know what i would really like to hear from madonna that i havent heard yet? pop-rock sounds! but i wont cause shes into that electronic crap right now...

Elton John may be a sir, however I wonder if he’s jealous because he’s not been asked yet. I thought DAD was good.
Stormkeeper said on December 22, 2002 11:19:
I heard Elton´s comments. But can we expect that aged man to like a song like DAD?... hmmm.
Electronic crap? I´m surprised about what u said! I love it and Music is M´s best cd ever.
And hi Spooky!
vaxjoe said on December 22, 2002 11:25:
i thought DAD is a masterpiece too!
i didnt mean to say that maddy sings electronic crap, i should have used the word “stuff” instead...i dont believe though that “music ” is her best cd i prefer ray of light by far...
i just want to see maddy moving on from electronica back to pop routes with some rock new horizons u know...after all new rock is back on the scene again :)

I hate those weird Indian songs on Ray Of Light, but then again Power Of Goodbye and Nothing Really Matters are super.
vaxjoe said on December 22, 2002 11:40:
and i think everyone agrees that “frozen” is her greatest hit for the 90s
Stormkeeper said on December 22, 2002 11:51:
she´s multi-talented as a performer and looks different every year :)
vaxjoe said on December 22, 2002 11:54:
shes a “phenomenon” such artists appear once every 50years or so..
coyboyusa said on January 4, 2003 17:41:
madonna may be talented but she can never meet eltons success
he has had a gold or number one hit in every year for the past 30 yrs..noone has ever done that
coyboyusa said on January 11, 2003 17:45:

I dunno if it supposed to, or if this has been said before, or what any of you think, but to me Wham and Last Chrismas sounds so much like ’half a woman, half a shadow’ whenever i have that cd on i find i can sing wham to it. It’s kinda wierd and i don’t know how or why. any opinions???
Stormkeeper said on December 22, 2002 10:47:
Yes, it´s timeless.
George Michael gets a lots of royalties from air play I suppose and I don´t think he has anything against that... lol.
I wish they could play Do They Know It´s Christmas (original ´84) version more as well.
I´m a bit surprised there´s no Trance version (yet) of DTKIC.
