ATAY a couple hours ago.
It’s a station for, hmm, say older ppl and it plays mostly Finnish music. Still, they play the song quite a bit!
sweepi said on December 21, 2002 15:06:
“Anyone” (last night). And before MATAH... And before ATAY, and before “Vulnerable”, and before LTYH, and before COYH, and before SIMC, and before IMHBL, and before SMT, and before “Joyride”, and before HDYD, and before WICF... Only to recall the last couple of months... :)

It must have been love. Since it’s a christmas song, and they play x-mas songs all the time here...although i think they should play the original version, christmas for the brokenhearted, but i dont think the radio-ppl know the difference....

Yesterday:
Stars (Almighty single version)
Today:
It must have been love

Wow you guys must be living in the RoxetteLand. I heard It Must Have Been Love on the radio 4 months ago in Vancouver. Here in California they don’t even know Roxette let alone playing their songs!
vaxjoe said on December 21, 2002 19:17:
@DAMINEH:yes they know them as the “girl who sings it must have been love” :P
harriej said on December 22, 2002 19:09:
last friday: It must have been love.
I’m from the Netherlands.
@stormkeeper: Lucky you!!

@Stormkeeper: Where are you from? Lucky you.
I live in Australia and they rarely play Roxette songs on the radio. They only play it on some stations. I mean I’m not even sure, but I think the last Roxette single ever released here is probably SIMC back in ’94 or something.
Last time I heard a Roxette song played on the radio is probably a year ago.
@vaxjoe: I have read in some forums that they thought Roxette was an ’all girl band’ (like Spice Girls). You’re right, some people I know thinks Roxette ’as the girl who sings IMHBL’. They know those other popular Roxette songs such as LTYH, The Look, Joyride, etc. but they didn’t know it was Roxette.
Also, some people also know Roxette as ’the guy who sang Joyride’ and wonders why he has a female name.
Joyride007 said on December 29, 2002 18:34:
On Czech radio they play Roxette always! But last they played A thing about you :-)
Alfonsette said on December 29, 2002 21:38:
Not in the radio, but today (Sunday) I ’ve listened “A thing about you” TWICE in a supermarket (Eroski).
I remember listening “Wish I could fly” every time I entered to Mercadona, the most important Spanish supermarket
Santi said on December 29, 2002 23:33:
Breathe on Los 40 Principales :) (Eroski is the most important Supermakets in Spain, Mercadona is just in Eastern Spain :D)

it must have been love. few days ago , from a radio inside a local store in buenos.a. sorry i dont hear radio , just rox cd´s.:)
Alfonsette said on December 30, 2002 00:28:
@ Santi
You are really wrong!!!
You seem to know everything, but this time...
Mercadona got the most important of Spain last year (or 2 years ago), it appeared on TVE and (of course) on Canal9, and I trully know it as someone of my familly is the boss of the estern region.
Although it’s a supermarket from València that hardly works in the east and north now it’s the most importat of Spain
Eroski now is just a big expensive supermarket like Carrefour

By the way... happy new year all of you :)

Spending My Time 2 or 3 days ago. I was singing along ;)
kiwijazza said on January 12, 2003 07:42:
Last one played: It Must Have Been Love (part of a Saturday night radio show called More FM Retro - only a couple weeks ago)
Latest release heard on radio (by me): Crash! Boom! Bang! (not long after its release)
I wish the radio stations here played more songs beyond Joyride. I’m starting to think that the public here think that their Top 10 hits from Joyride and Look Sharp! (plus IMHBL) are their only songs. :(
geytenbeek said on January 13, 2003 03:07:
Joyride...
TGI Friday’s in Down Town Minneapolis...USA on Saturday.
GTiG said on January 13, 2003 20:09:
It was “Anyone” which was played on a local radiostation around noon today. The Radiostation is called P4 Radio Blekinge. I don’t know if they play a lot of Roxette compared to other stations... but they do play Rox / GT I think atleast 3 or 4 times a week.
But then again... this is Sweden I’m talking about... *smile*

Unbelivable, but I’ve heard “7twenty7 (Tits & Ass demo)”
It was in “Europa FM” from eastern Spain.
So NICE as it was not a single, neither was released in any album (as it is a b-side).
The radio-speaker said it was into the HAND album, and said it was a very good song album, also talked about marie’s illness and Per promoting new album.
In that radio (for me the best one) play many Roxette and Manu Chao songs.
Maybe the boss is a Rox fan

Last song I heard was ’Listen to your heart’, yesterday at 5.30 pm, at FM 104, the biggest Radio Station in Ireland.

The Look yesterday... I was just doing some “station hopping” when I suddenly heard a familiar voice, so I on kept on listening - turned out to be AFN Heidelberg/Germany (AFN=American Forces Network)!
I didn’t even know I can get that station here until yesterday... I used to listen to it rather often back home at my parents’ and it seems like they’re still playing TL, Dangerous, LTYH, Joyride, SMT and FLAF regularly :-)

Im from Australia. im really dissappointed that there hasnt been any advertising for The Ballard hits.
All in the past years, all ive seen on Video hits was sleeping in my car, i wish i could fly, and more recently centre of the heart (briefly).
Seems we miss out on all songs being released, along with new albums! I have to hunt through numerous music stores, and back order anything that i want!!
surely somehting can be done! :(
how can we get roxette to come to australia?
the_phantom_roxer said on January 16, 2003 12:48:
@xarrrr: i meant we’re hounding the radio stations!
Stormkeeper said on January 16, 2003 16:40:

It wasn’t quite radio, but I heard “Spending My Time” at a restaurant while eating brunch with friends, about a month ago. They rolled their eyes when I sang along. :-)
Stormkeeper said on December 21, 2002 09:31:
Joyride
*this morning*
Do they support or ignore ROX on your local radio stations?
Over here they play ROX every day :)
