I’ve heard the Annie Lennox version but not the Sarah Brightman version, which I’ll have to download. :)

Annie’s version is better IMHO.

AREN’T COVER VERSION BORING?

but answering your question: I think they both did a great job, maybe Annie brought some more personality into the song!

OMG!!

Hey I love that Annie Lennox’s version! and I’m agree if Roxette did the cover of it, I think it will suit Marie’s voice best!

Or maybe Roxette could do something together with Eurythmics. I love that band too...

@Spook: just thought it’s interesting to know how overused this song is, considering that the two singers you mentioned are two of the most recent ones. Would I have known that my reply doesn’t find your support, I’d surely asked you before posting it....

the original is performed by Procol Harum - to my knowledge.... i like this version :)

Spooky: didn’t know it’s up to you to decide what’s a waste of bandwidth. I found it quite interesting to see how many artists (a lot of them are pretty good ones) covered the song), sorry it didn’t interest you, maybe someone else found it interesting.

And last but not least, you above all people on this board shouldn’t lecture me on bandwidth waste!!!

LOL A duet with Eurythmics?? No way!! Roxette is just too cheap for them...

Spooky changed her mind!

too bad, I was so curious!

I changed my mind for the simple fact that it was degenerating down into a fight and I’m sick of it. Since I couldn’t delete the thread entirely, I just removed my comments. My last one was directed at Markuz anyway, and he and I have spoken about it.

eurythmics are too cheap for roxette

but wait eurythmics was such a flop that they no longer exist
