Roxette mentioned on Seinfeld?

I just happend to catch a Seinfled re-run on German TV station Pro Sieben - I wasn’t really paying attention, but then I suddenly heard someone say “Singing swedes?”. It was George sitting at a desk doing a crossword puzzle... his first idea was Abba, but the real solution was Roxette!
According to epguides.com, the episode was first shown in 95... I’m pretty surprised Roxette were mentioned in a show that huge at a time when they didn’t even exist anymore for many Americans, so I was wondering if that dialog was just an invention of the people who wrote the German translation or if it also appears in the original dialog? Does anyone happen to have that ep and could check this?
BTW, this is the episode description I found at epguides.com, maybe this’ll help with finding the correct episode:
115. The Hot Tub
gs: Jeremiah Birkett (Jean-Paul) Leon Russom (Clayton) Ernie Lively (Zeke) Charles Cyphers (Gardner) Kate Mulligan (Sheri) Susan Isaacs (Woman) Thom Barry (Manager) Jeff Miller (Event Guard) Richard Herd (Wilhelm)
George picks up a bad habit from some visiting baseball officials. During the time of the New York City Marathon, Elaine has an out of country runner as her house guest. The runner had overslept and missed the big race at the last Olympics and Jerry obsesses with ensuring that it doesn’t happen again. Kramer gets a hot tub from his friend Lomez and Elaine has writer’s block.
b: 19-Oct-95 pc: 705 w: Gregg Kavet & Andy Robin d: Andy Ackerman

“[Setting: George’s office]
(George is doing the newspaper’s crossword. The pen stops working)
GEORGE: Eh.. come oooon.. (Starts stabbing the paper with the pen. Mr. Wilhelm comes in, George switches to annoyed-mode again)
WILHELM: George.. I think you may be taking work a little too seriously.
GEORGE: Well, I’ve got a lot to do!
WILHELM: George, I’ll tell you what I’d like you to do. I, I’d like you to drop everything. (George acts annoyed) I have this.. fun little assignment I think you’ll enjoy. There’s some reps in from the Houston Astros for talks on that interleague play.. and I want you to show them a good time.(George give an “ok, you’re the boss” gesture)
(Scene ends)”

Oops, I somehow managed to forget what I actually wanted to write this morning! I found out Roxette are only mentioned in the German dub, he’s only talking about a singing duo in the original version! I guess they wanted to use a name people actually had heard of... kinda nice they came up with Roxette :-)

Oh, too bad!!! I suppose Per would have been thrilled with Roxette mentioned in this sitcome! Too bad. There’s a re-run of Seinfeld in France as well...I’ll watch it closely...Let’s see if the French translators will use “Roxette”...he-he-he. I don’t think so..

Too bad :-(
But it’s a bit confusing because the scence that you (Starrox) descirbed is not quite the same as the one descirbed by Ferdan. In Starrox’s version they are talking about the crossword puzzle/the correct solution but in Ferdan’s version they aren’t talking about music/ the crossword puzzle at all. I mean, that are 2 totally different dialogoues. Is the rest of “your” (Starrox) version about the same toipc as in Ferdan’s secene? I didnt’ expect it to be so different in different languages.

It’s the same scene, they simply didn’t write that part of the dialogue in the script, only “(George is doing the newspaper’s crossword. The pen stops working)”...
