What does this mean: “ganhamos o ceu”

Thanks!

Hi ! Hard to tell without knowing the whole phrase but “ganhamos o céu” means:
We won the Heaven (or sky, depending on the sense of the phrase)
We got the Heaven (or sky, depending on the sense of the phrase)

Keep on roxing :D

A very late thank you from me!

I asked a friend, it’s the title of a song and it means “We have won the sky” indeed!

Ganhámos o ceu ... means

We won or we have won the sky ... Or heaven. The same word “céu” means both conotations for “heaven” or “sky”.

It depens on the context where ur sentence was taken. Was that in anyway a “lyric” of a portuguese song?

Yes, it was the title of a song in the Portuguese final for Eurovision in 1996.
