Dont you think that when you listen to the radio nowadays it just makes you realise that music is DYING and that music has no feeling anymore. Those 70s / 80s songs had so much emotion and feeling. reply.

Hell no way lol, i love the technology that can be used in music production now, resulting it some mean back arse beats.

One of you said that maybe its just you getting older.. Well, im 15, and I only listen to 80’s and some 70’s music. Today its so rare to find good new music.. I think music maybe dying. But thats sad. All of you at least have the memories left, but I... I have no memories.. Only the music. And though I would like to have the memories im very thankful that I have the “old” music! Couldnt live without it! I just think that most of the music-makers today have no clue about what they are doing at all!! Its sad, but its true!!

I agree with Icegirl. Sure there is a lot of rubbish, but there is also plenty of fantastic music around if you look hard enough. I hate it when people go on about music not being the same since the 60’s/70’s. The selection of music over the past 20 yrs has just got huge....and maybe you have to dig a bit deeper to find something you like

technology has made artists lazy. I remmber when artists used to put out an album every year of xcellent quality without pro tools or a home studio.

I have got into so many different artists over the past 12 months, people I would have perhaps avoided a couple of years ago but now I love just randomly buying something in as shop and trying it out!

I would say yes, but I’m not sure if the fact is that music is dying or if we are getting older and for us, that grew up listening to the 80s music, nowadays music is not that good. I think young people from these days will think exactly the same as we think right now in 20 years’ time.
