Dynamo not doing very well

Helena J's new album isn't doing very well in Sweden. On its 2nd week on the albums chart it plummets from 23 to 51. Is it being promoted? Or is it any good?

@animalkingdom: Do you measure music quality for its popularity or its success in hit lists? Because if you do so, I guess you stopped listening to Roxette ages ago :p

(I don’t know nothing about Swedish lists, honestly, I don’t even care about Spanish ones)

Did I say that? Cos I don’t think I did.

And just for the record, Roxette still enjoy chart success...Hello, what hole have you been living in?

But why is it that every time someone mentions charts people start whining how unimportant charts are. I am generally interested in music charts, is there something wrong about it?

Animalkingdom is the ChartMan :) So it’s normal for him to comment on charts, nothing wrong with it I would say. I also check the charts from now and then even if they don’t decide my music collection.

I would say that any artist is happy to see his/her album up in the charts, after all, charts reflect the number of copies sold in a country, the more sold copies, the more people like your music, helps one’s ego :)

Hey, man, calm down, it was no attack against you!!! I live in Spain, if you consider it a hole... :p

Yeah, charts are important for an artist ego, no doubt about it. It’s just that I’m not interested in them, never been. And usually, if I take a look at the Spanish TOP10, all of them suck in my humble opinion. But if you like lists, good for you. And if you felt offended by my comment, I apologise :)
