anyone met per and marie at the same time?

has anyone of you ever met per and marie together?
well i didn‘t (in fact in never met marie) and i want to know how do the behave towards each other? are they smiling at each other? is it like the big brother and little sister oder more like good friends? do they speak swedish or english with each other (on the airport for example) ?
i‘m so interested...

It’s always been the opposite when I’ve met them...Marie goes to the fans and Per tries to get away. I guess it depends on their moods. I haven’t really seen them talking to each other. Every time I met them together, Per came out first, signed very quickly and left, while Marie was signing for about 10 minutes after he was gone.

Regarding my meetings, they seemed too busy to communicate while signing as well. Actually, each of them attracted a bunch of fans with stuff to sign, it seemed like Marie fans and Per fans formed 2 ( opposite?) groups.
However, they DID speak Swedish and were at complete easy during the rehearsal in a TV studio later on.

It’s true, I’ve also noticed that MF changed. She wasn’t like this in ’94. Of course she was very kind and all that, but PER was always the one standing there for hours with the fans while MF was long gone. Thank god things have changed :-))

i asked per a lot of questions and he answered me really well and in complete sentences...
when i would ask marie some question she would answer “yes”, “no” maybe. But i guess she didnt want to use her english on me....

Here is my experience: The first time together, I met them the 23th of April 2001 in Zürich. It was after a TV-Show, where me and my friend went to. Both were very nice and shy, exactly as we were :)) Meeting them after 2 concerts on the Room Service tour was much more relaxed..friendly smiles, chitchat...I think it is amazing that they are able to remember people..Right now, it’s so hard, cause we miss them so much! *sigh*

I also noticed that it’s more Marie who’s coming to the fans, although before it was more Per.
I think it might also have to do with some bad experiences that Per went through the past few years with some crazy fans...anyone who agrees?

I met them on the last tour the last time. Per gave us autographes and took photos with us. Marie only gave autographes and went to the bus. I think it´s depending the mood and how many fans are there.
I also met Marie in Sweden 2000 and she was so nicce to us. It´s always great to meet and see them. I hope they come on tour again.

In ”94 it was always PG who stayed out with the fans much longer than MF. She’s always been very kind and all that, but since the solo tour she changed. I think she knows now who HER OWN fans are and who HIS fans are. And she loves her own fans a lot! :-)

i think it all depends on their mood.
lets say if you work with people:
have you ever went to work, just felling okay or a bad mood and you just say “hi” to the customer.
well sometimes you also say “hi, how ya doing today, did you find everything okay?” right?
i think its the same with them... its also a job to go on tour!! they just have diferent moods sometimes

I agree with rox74ever, it just depends on their moods and the day (and the time of day...never talk to them in the morning because they have terrible hangovers!!) On the Room Service Tour I always had really good experiences with Marie, and Per was so cold that I didn’t even bother to speak to him anymore. But in Sweden, they seemed to swap personalities and suddenly Per was very warm and friendly, while Marie became very cold and rude! So nobody can really say “Marie is the nice one” or “Per is the nice one.” They both can be sweet and friendly, and they both have their bad sides too. Just like anyone really! I guess the only difference is that if you are rude to a customer, they might get mad but it doesn’t really matter. If Roxette are rude to fans, then they can really hurt someone!

@Cinnamon; well let just say that in ’96 for example, during and after the Återtåget tour there was someone who went sort of nuts and started sending out threat letter to Åsa, that was a so called ’ big fan of Per’.
I can imagine that after that he’s a bit more careful when he’s going out meeting the fans. And also I think Per’s more shy to a group of people he doesn’t really know than Marie these days, and Marie of course know a lot of her hardcore fans from her tour last year, she’s very good at remembering faces while Per isn’t.

It’s just a talk that goes around trough the fans, I can’t remember who told me, but lots of other fans I know have been talking about it as well so I’m actually quite sure it’s true.

when i met marie and per in helsinki in november 2001, marie was more outgoing than per.
and i had always thought that marie is something scary and per is the nice one. that’s the picture that people get from interviews etc. but it was very different and i was really suprised.

Of course they speak Swedish together. I met them together lots of times. Usually they’re too buisy signing and talking to the fans that they don’t have much time to smile at eachother...
