The project HOT JOY as a sense tribute to Roxette began to develop to half-full of February of 2006, although enough time before already went up to around the idea in the minds of Nicolas Fontimpe (bass and vocals), Marcela Hatsatourian (lead vocals) and Federico Fontimpe (guitarist), who are the founders of the band and creators of the call to all the musicians who added themselves later. In just a short time they were arriving Juan Camaño Infant (guitarist, vocals and technician of recording), Ariel Prado (keyboards, engineer of recording) and Santiago Rey (drummer), thus being completes the formation for the future presentations. All of them are musical with many years of experience on the scenes and solid musical formation. Individually they comprised of other projects so varied that academic rock to and the classic thing went from the punk, happening through folkloric and choral music to capella. From the first tests they congeniaron very well. As much it is so all the fears and the doubts, that usually they appear as ghost in an encounter like that, dissipated leaving place to the enormous enthusiasm that stays until today. The first months were of constant work to add repertoire of songs. The 24 of September of 2006 made first live presentation, with great repercussion between all fans of Roxette (and not so fans also). In the last three months of the last year gave 8 concerts with increasing call. It was specially important its participation in the Celebration by the 20 years of Roxette (and launching of its last disc) organized altogether by EMI Music Argentina and the sites of Internet Run to Roxette, Roxette Latino! and The Daily Roxette, in The Roxy Bar. That night was the only band in alive thanks to the unconditional support of fans of Roxette, with those who are living a species on wonderful romance from his first presentation. They made the recording of demo in form of EP, Some things will to never die! with five songs of Roxette in which they combined adjustments of different versions, as much of study as of live concerts in world-wide tours, plus an own touch.
