Hello!
I just the new one here. So first of all I ´d like to say Hello everyone out there. And because that I´m the new one, I have a little present for everybody. I created a Cover Artwork for the Demos, that were gave to us until X-Mas.

Sorry for the PDF but so you won´t have any problems by printing the Sleeve.
If you ´ll get any Problems by saveing the Sleeve, post it and i will covert it to JPG.

Check this out and give me some feedback.

It looks a bit like the new Reveal Single Artwork.

Stay tuned

Welcome to the forum, Memami :) Have a great time here!

Your cover is really cool, matches very well with other Roxette 20 releases. And I love the title “The Web Hits A Collection Of Demos”.

Good work. Just print it! ;-)

Hey, nice work! What’s the name of the font?

It very much reminds Impact (?)...

Hey Sweepi!
You are totally right. It´s Impact. Very simple but it looks pretty much like original Font they use for their Artwork.
And for every “O” I replaced the hole with a star. And so it looks like the Rox 20 style. Don´t you think?

Hej memami, and welcome to the forum! :-)

Yes, not the original font as used for the Rox20 releases (the “R” was the first “denouncing” that it wasn’t ;-) ... still looking to find out which one that is; hmm, you don’t happen to know it, do you?... :-P), yet indeed, Impact comes pretty close and matches the original style very well too. Overall, the whole sleeve style does, it’s very nice. :-)

Hmm, have you thought of trying it out in all caps for both the front and the back tracklist, and even who knows, for the front, keep the “italic” both under and above the main title, (as the original artwork has been made), to see how it would look like?... :-) (And what about maybe dropping the zeros in front of the track numbers?... Since it only goes up to nine... ;-))

From the quick searches that i’ve done, it looks like the font could be Helvetica Inserat or OL newsbytes

Hej Rob! Greetings to downunder! :-)

Yes, at first, when I first saw the front cover, I too had thought it was some kind of Helvetica, eventually Inserat, or then just some heavy Helvetica. But nope, as I now saw the back cover, I believe Helvetica (even Inserat) is a wrong guess... There are other subtler details (like the height/width proportion, for example, or the thickness of the lines, etc; or even if you’d consider that there’s no italic for this font, but then they might just have slanted it in some artificial way, of course, just like memami did with Impact, which also doesn’t have the italic format), but for instance, look at the “J” or the “K”, or then the “1”, the “4”, the “7”...

And also OL Newsbytes, yes, I had gone through that one also... But again, look at for instance the “1” or the “7”, or then the “!”...

So I guess we’re left with continuing the search... :-P
