Thats a great idea! I’ve never thought about that one, releasing a livecompilation from different tours!
Bibi said on November 17, 2001 12:31:
Per said that live albums tend to be a kind of second greatest hits album. I think he doesn’t like it. Biut in my opinion it would be great if they released a CD/ DVD set like Marie did! Please, they must give us a memory!!!
Markuz said on November 17, 2001 15:53:
@thomasc: well, I like your idea. You know, that’s exactly what Eurythmics did when they released a live CD: they released ALL their songs played live through their career in a double CD, from 3 different world tours.
@bibi: so what? They’ve released 4 compilations albums in a row in the last couple of years: “Rarities”, “DBUGTTC”, “Baladas” and “Pearls (re released)”. Not to mention the US version of “DBUGTTC”. So a live CD wouldn’t do any harm.

I like it but I would like one new song in the beginning of each CD.... ane ballad and one up tempo as singles so people see that Roxette are still around....
and I mean a real ballad as imhbl, not as matah
freshold said on November 18, 2001 03:10:
@Markuz - how many songs did Eurythmics put on their double live album ? any covers ?
Bibi said on November 18, 2001 09:44:
@ Markus: of course I agree with you but I just wanted to mention how they probably think...!
Mambo said on November 20, 2001 06:05:
Yeah,
Roxette is live the BEST so a live album would be great
AntiMario said on November 27, 2001 04:32:
They have already issued official Live album in 1996.
Though it’s a rare Promo, from which all the boots in Johannesburg were made.
By the way I have this ;)
ditroia said on November 27, 2001 04:45:
What about the rock runt ricket and HC tour
Hey Can we see a pic of this album or soem more details, do u mean bootls like evening boogie that is a great one
Dave
AntiMario said on November 27, 2001 04:49:
Surely I can scan Disc, but there was no sleeve just paper inlay with info and tracklisting.
I can send picture to e-mail.
If you mean Evening Boogie, that IS exactly the boot made from this CD.
The CD includes Intro (missing on Crash! Boom! Live!) and 2 excerpts from Interviews with Per.

That would be cool...a live album...as most countries didn’t get a visit on this tour! atleast we’d get some idea of how it was!
Denstandigaresan said on November 27, 2001 12:44:
CCCCOOOOEEEYYY ANDY!!! Alright mate!? Fancy seeing you here!
I TOTALLY agree with you though...It would have been mega coolies to have Roxette come to the UK...but alas, it wasn’t to be! :,o( A Live album...hopefully totally full of the last tour’s material would be cool...so like you said, people like us who missed out...etc.etc! Can but hope I suppose! :)
Galning said on December 4, 2001 09:39:
It´s a good idea to release a “best of LIVE” album. Not a album of the RS-tour 2001, but an album with all the best live performances from LS-tour, Joyride-tour, unplugged, CBB-tour and RS-tour......
BTW: thomasc, I like the tracklist you wrote down in this topic a lot....
kix727 said on December 4, 2001 23:28:
Forget about album like this!
I just hope they will release “RoomServiceTour2001”.... (2CD-s)

coyboyusa said on February 9, 2002 15:10:
per has seemed to always be against one...which in a way is kinda ok with me cause well all it is is the hits live ..i can hear the look only so many times before i get boted...but it would be nice to have one in a box set...or at kleast some live b-sides again
rezmad said on February 10, 2002 17:03:
Would love to get an official live album.
In the mean time I’m using my resources here at work to convert the Audio from the Stockholm Webcast into Wave files so as I can write a double CD to listen to on my stereo.
Bon Jovi’s live DVD of their Zurich show on the Crush tour was quite good, and I think Roxette should have done something like that.
Close2U said on February 12, 2002 01:15:
That’s a great list of live songs (although I miss the rain, hehehehe). We can play it the other way around...if rox doesn’t release such an album...WHY DON”T YOU CREATE IT???
If you manage to make a 2cd compilation of high quality live-recordings...I would be the first person to offer you money!
(*smiling* =)
Taysan said on November 16, 2001 07:15:
yeah, would be cool. But I don’t think it will ever happen. I think they first better make a good new album with some asskicking songs. :)
