Tea or coffee?

On my 6th coffee of the morning & wondering what everybody prefers?
Tea? Coffee?
Britain is meant to be a tea drinking nation but then again they consume the most coffee (don’t blame me if I’m wrong there!)
I only ever seem to drink tea when I’m unwell as I find coffee makes me feel sick & snotty!!! (nice thought!!)
What do you like?
nate said on September 27, 2006 09:26:
Definitely coffee - though I try to limit it to 1-2 cups per day.

I drink more coffee than tea, but I like both. I do think I drink a bit too much coffee though

I use to be a big coffee drinker and always fresh coffee never instant! But of recent months I have switched to tea and in the past week changed to tea that is decaffeinated in the hope it would curb my sleeping problems!
I still have coffee at home, but always fresh… and same when I am out and about I go for a Vanilla Latte!

As for the hot beverages, I think coffee is more popular here. (Iced tea is very popular, though.)
Me, I prefer tea. Earl Grey. I probably knew how to brew a cuppa from LOOSE TEA LEAVES—I don’t recall ever having teabags growing up—by the time I was 10.
I will have coffee on occasion, with desert, or a (white mocha) cappucino, every once in a while. Other than when Dad or another friend is here, which is rare, the coffee maker, a rather good one at that, gathers dust on the counter.
And I drink more Coke than either.

Tea is easier to make for me :D I don’t really care, seriously, I’d drink any of them.
@just like that: are not 9 coffees like a lot? U sure that’s healthy?

Hello, I’m roxlad and I have a problem. I admit that I’m a coffee-holic.
I have cappuccino in the morning, a red cup after lunch, cappuccino (again) in the afternoon, coffee in the evening and latte macchiato at night.... I know it’s too much!

Has anyone had a moccochino? (Is that how you spell it?!?!)
Been quizzed ever since s**tbreak constantly drunk them in American Pie!!
just_like_that said on September 29, 2006 07:39:
Not sure how it’s spelt, but like a chocco cappuccino, I think?!?
Maybe just an american thing?

I just had a vanilla latte but a decaff one in town... was just as good as the caffine hit!
angelofmusic said on September 29, 2006 14:08:
I don’t like coffee at all, but I love tea! I start every morning with a cup of strong English tea with milk! I also like flavored sorts, like vanilla or Indian spice etc.
roxlad said on September 29, 2006 14:43:
@just_like_that is it like a cappuccino but with a sprinkle of chocolate on the top? Also I had a cappuccino with some hot chocolate on the top and then a sprinkle of chocolate powder... that’s very nice.
I wonder if there is anywhere out of Italy where you can have a proper cappuccino. Here we make it with milk which is warmed up with a little jet of hot water. In northern Europe they make it with either all water or milk but still a lot of water (very runny).
Ary-Sya said on September 29, 2006 14:46:
i come from northen and i see that people use the chocolate, or milk, water i don’t know, but if you tell...i belive it!

Well, I don’t like either tea or coffee. Yeah, I’m just 14 but I’ve tasted both and I hate them. I tried drinking tea for a while, but it ended up with me filling the whole cup with milk to try to get a better taste on it... it didn’t get any better ;).

Coffee 2-5 each day, and tea 1-2... they’re both very important! :)
