Welcome BACK. Four years ago we thought we’d lost you forever....but you’re still here, even together with Roxette again - which is more than we ever could have dreamed of after the news of September 11 2002! I for one am just glad to see you alive and well, whether you’re making music or not. Thankyou for not giving up!!

It is great to have her back, and I am really grateful and happy that she felt she was able to do anything with roxette again. I still dream of being able to see her live again, even in a small unplugged performance with or without per. Not sure it will happen though. It seems she is quite happy now appearing at low key events without giving much advance warning.

But, sweet, talentfull, sexy Marie is back!! When I saw the video to One Wish, I was so glad to see her again together with Per. They are such a great team and she sound so young and fresh on the song.
Welcome Marie - I really hope that you are willing to continue with Roxette - even if you’re not willing to tour and stuff, but to hear your voice again is the greatest sound on this planet!!

what can i say? it´s great to watch marie in the new video! i wish you did a new video for ON since the fact that that one was an animated video reminds me marie was ill at that time. but now everything´s changed... for good.

I still remember how scared and desperate I was four years ago when we all found out about Marie’s illness. It was a terrible time, I cried every night, because I was so frightened that we are going to lose her forever.
But Marie is a survivor, and she is back, making beautiful music - with her new album and new Roxette songs - and looking better than ever!
I wrote a poem for her when she was already getting a bit better. As English is not my first language, there may be some mistakes in it, but I hope you can forgive me:-)
Here it is:
Tonight I prayed for her,
Begged mercy from the God.
I just couldn’t understand,
His ways are really odd.
Tonight I cried for her
Felt terrified and scared.
She should have a perfect life,
Not deal with pain and fear.
Tonight I smiled again,
I knew she wouldn’t die.
Inside this little woman
One real survivor hides.
