He’s from the Phillipines, so he doesn’t have keys for all those characters in his keyboard.
å = alt + 134
Å = alt + 143
Ä = alt + 134
ä is just ¨ + a, same for ö (¨+ o)

Here it is how to do that with a German Keyboard:
First press ALT and 134 on the right side of the Keyboard!
