A Girl Like you?

What song is this?
A Girl Like You
oh I want to spend my time
yes, I want to spend my time
i really want to spend my life
with a girl like you
oh I’ve been waitin’ such a long time
there’s been so many things on my mind
i’m really pleased I finally could find
a girl like you
he-he-hey! what d’ya say?
do you want to dance
like you’ve never danced before in your life?
i’ve been up in the sky just to get the right view
i’ve been around the world
gettin’ ready for a girl like you
a girl like you
i was raised to be so clever
how come I feel I’ve known you forever
like I’ve always been together
with a girl like you
he-he-hey! what d’ya say?
do you want to dance
like you’ve never danced before in your life?
i’ve been climbin’ so high watchin’ the view
i’ve been around the world
gettin’ ready for a girl like you
i’ve been around the world
and I’ve been lookin’ for a girl like you

I also am having trouble downloading the song. Is there any other link to the song?
Roxoholic said on July 8, 2006 10:47:
bananylopalabomba: Thank you so much:) The song er great. It´s just a shame that it wasn´t included on the album.
By the way; I don´t want to be rude, but do you also have a link to the Son Of A Plumber version of Keep The Radio On (This Is The Perfect Song)?
Anyway, thanks again:)

@Roxoholic: The iTunes version of KPTRO is just like the one from the vinyl album. However, it doesn’t have all the vinyl noises. It’s cleaner in a way.
The different versions to KTRO are the one from The Lonely Boys and the original demo of KTRO.
Take care!

Roxrider USA: Thanks for the info. I haven´t heard the vinyl version of KTRO. I have only heard the Lonely Boys version and the demo. I hope the new version is a little bit better:)
But I´m a sucker for anything that Per and Marie are involved with:)

this song reminds me soo much of I was so lucky...obviously not the speed of the guitars, but the tune... listen to it again and then in one part - the chorus part methinks, try singing (from I was So Lucky) ’It’s no secre I’ve been straving, I’ve never felat anything for years...etc) it fits almost perfectly!
Also sing it in the whistling part...
nice song tho.

Did I ever tell you that the worst enemy for an artist is his/her record company?
Sascha said on July 25, 2006 12:44:
Don’t tell me that the song isn’t worth 0,99 € for you, coming from europe. I can understand the purchase problems for people outside the EU, but that still doesn’t justify stealing... :-(
pwbbounce (moderator) said on July 25, 2006 13:58:
Since when has colin and Tev worked for EMI?? This site is nothing to do with EMI, but they could easily shut it down if they wanted to. Don’t know why people get defensive when they’re told not to steal songs. Imagine yourself in the aritists position. If you had made an album, spent loads of time and money on making it and then “fans” come along and steal the track. I know you’re gonna say “well it’s only one more time”, but for every one time, there’s probably another 10 being copied somewhere round the world as well.
No wonder music sales are in such a state. And yes, before anyone says, I have received songs by Email before, but I have ALWAYS tried to purchase the songs as well. With enough looking around, you can nearly always find the tracks somewhere. Obviously there are some cases where you can’t find the tracks anywhere though
Thats just my opinion on the whole thing
