With 30 Carry On films(31 if you include Thats Carry On compilation) and a new film Carry On London in production what does everyone think of them?and what are people thoughts on a new film?
the original films ran from 1958-1978 with a final one being made in 1992.some of the great cast were
Kenneth Williams(26 films)
Joan Sims(24 films)
Charles Hawtry(23 films)
Sid James(19 films)

I’ve got a friend who is really into the films. I don’t think that there should be anymore made really. The most recent ones where no where near as good as the original. Plus most of the character of the films came from the actors, and most of them are all dead now. Imagine a Carry On without Sid James?? Nah!!

I’ve seen a few of the carry on... films, favorites are carry on Matron, Camping and Doctor i think.
As always when they do remakes of classics like this they’re never the same. I think the actors in the old ones is what gave them part of their charm.

I always love the Carry On Films.... not sure the modern ones are as good!
