Area 51

I’ve been trying to think of topic’s which could become a debate, rather than just the stupid “Fave things” threads.

What about this? Did Aliens really land back in the 40’s? Is it a big government cover up?

Any thoughts people?

Well I do think that there are “other beings” out there. Not sure about the whole Area 51 theory, but we can’t be the only planet in the entire universe with life forms on.

They’re not little green men though, but I’m not sure about appearance either.

I am quite interested in the whole Alien thing, and have a few books on it. But not into Star Wars or Star Trek. I prefer “realistic”, if I can use that word, alien things!

I agree with you! Things about aliens are a common topic at home. I’m sure there are intelligent beings out there, because thinking the whole universe just for us is ridiculous.

About Area 51, well, I don’t know. I think some people want that we believe that it’s only a myth but I think that it is real.

What about people kidnapped by aliens?

All I know is that there is a section of land out in Nevada (where Area 51 is “supposed to be”) that if you cross the No Tresspassing signs, you will wish you’d never been thought of.

They prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.

It looks like everyone prefers to talk about the Fave things.... lol Oh well, I tried! lol

ow i totally believe in area 51 me , always have always will, but brother bought some of the most interesting books when i was younger.

seeing how grossly ignorat and infantile the human race is why ion earth would any advanced race want to study us unless they wanted a dose of humour or drama lol

Coy’s just upset he hasn’t had that anal probe thing.

ow i have spooky ;-)

i think the aliens like soaps me thinks. LOL

It doesn’t make sense that we are the only ones in the universe, so for that reason i believe there are other beings.

But whether they crashed on earth and the US government has been keeping secrets all these years... well i doubt it.

I don’t think aliens would be that stupid too crash on earth.

It would be nice to know what goes on around that area though, as LittleSpooky said, it’s apparently quite well guarded. I think i remember seeing a doco a while back about people that worked there had to be driven to work in buses (at night or blacked out) so they didn’t know exactly where they were going. Strange indeed.

While I do believe in the existence of aliens, I do not think “Area 51” has anything at all to do with aliens. I think Area 51 was “created” to deter people from what was really happening there in the 50s; extensive nuclear testing. Don’t you think it’s a bit of an unlikely coincidence that such a huge incident, an alien crash landing, just happened to happen at the same time and same general location that these huge, environmentally disastrous bombs were being detonated?

I spent a week in that area researching for a book I’m writing and was so surprised that more people in the tourist/travel areas focused on the fact that aliens supposedly crash landed there than the real issue; that the government of the United States of America not only tested hundreds of bombs on and underneath the surface of the land, but also denied benefits to the people and soldiers who were made sick from the radiation. There is no talk about the radiation clouds, the nuclear debris falling from the sky, the dead farm animals, or the kids and adults who became sick. If you want this information don’t expect to find much about it on the Internet. You have to go to Indian Springs Nevada, St George Utah, and other small communities near “Area 51” and look for people who are willing to discuss it; the people who actually saw it, the people whose animals died and whose children developed cancer. The government of the US does not make this information public. People in those areas have had astronomical rates of certain kinds of cancer but nobody hears about that. All we hear about is the “alien” thing. I’m sure it’s meant to get people’s minds away from the true crisis that happened over there.

Nonetheless, I do believe that life exists on other planets. But I think it’s too much coincidence that two massive events happened in the same approximate location during the same period of time. It has served the government too well to have the majority of Americans thinking of aliens when they hear about the Nevada desert instead of thinking about nuclear testing and the poisoning of American people and the polluting of American land.

And by the way, it’s true that you can’t wander on to that land but it has nothing to do with aliens. It has a lot more to do with the government not wanting people to collect samples from the earth and test for radiation. The last thing the government wants is for somebody to head over there with a camera and a Geiger counter.

Did anyone see the TV show Roswell?? I thought it was good, shame it got cancelled

Surprisingly, that was one show that i never got into.

Ofcourse there are aliens!! I am one!!!!

Lots of people believe that Area 51 has nothing to do with Aliens and that the US is just toooo happy for people to think it does. But strange things seem to happen there nonetheless...

..then again strange things happen in the Bermuda traingle..

I think there are aliens somewhere in outer space. Just not sure if mother earth has ever been visited by any..
