has anyone else out there seen the dvd of the long way round. Its a documentary of Ewan Mcgregor and his mate charlie who ride their bmw bikes round the world eastwards through europe towards russia alaska canada and the states ending in ney york...its the most awesome film i have seen - when we sat down to watch it we were glued to the screen...its very funny too as there were quite a few times we laughed out loud...Ewan is a really cool down to earth guy which makes it so easy to watch - their trip was just amazing - if you get a chance i recommend you to watch it .....

I loved watched it on Sky so much, I went out and brought the DVD AND the book!! The book’s got a lot more detail in (as usual) so is def worth a read!
The programme made me want to do it. But I don’t think my bike would take it. It’s a 50cc Scooter..... Perfect for Guernsey, but not for travelling round the world I feel

It will be part driving / part biking across the US.
