bara vara nara

Album: Puls
Song: Bara vara n”ara

=

Album: Son of a plumber
Song: Come back tomorrow (and we do it again)

Anyone already realized that?
Am I just stupid to realize it so late?????

Not only does Gessle copy other peoples work he also copies his own lol. There is another song on SOAP that has the same guitar solo as Fiskarnas Tecken (i think). Also on TWATG there are some reused solos/tunes from his previous work. I think its quite funny spotting them. The bara vara nara one is by far the most blatent one though. Its just funny, he had the words but must have been too tired for the music :)

It was mentioned by someone somewhere (probably soap forum) some time ago ;D It isn’t suprise for me, although as everyone I’d rather prefer new, completely orginal song...

See our review of the album:

“13. Come Back Tomorrow (And We Do It Again)
Thomas: Hey, this I’ve heard before? Of course, it’s a remake of Gyllene Tider’s old bonus track from “Puls” - “Bara vara nära.” So I’m guessing this wasn’t written for this album. Nice version, sounds quite a lot like GT’s but this is of course fresher. It outdates the old version with say... 23 years!
Visa: Hey, you’re right! It actually is “Bara vara nära.” Had to listen to the old song from the vaults of iTunes. Nice and modern arrangement, although Gyllene Tider was so good with their arrangements that the old song sounds almost as modern.”

yes you’re right. the slide guitar solo in “fiskarnas tecken” reminds me a lot of the solo in “hey mr. dj”..

I also noticed that the solo in Gyllene Tider’s “Speciell” is also almost the same as the solo in “Opportunity Nox”...

and for that matter, the chord pattern of “Bm G D A” can be found in so many Gessle songs that I’ve stopped counting them... for example:
opportunity nox, det är över nu, ordinärt mirakel, listen to your heart, something in the system, om du bara vill....

... and on “Double-headed Elvis” as well!!!

yep, its easy to start singing one song and then merge it into another Gessle song. lol. i do it all the time. :)
