No, I don´t think it. Marie was very ill and she can´t immediately after her recovery to record a new album and to go on tour! I think a new album will come out in late 2006 or early 2007. And tour?? Maybe in 2007.

No SOAP tour! That would be the most boring event in the world. Unless he’s playing songs from his previous albums, that would be a great improvement. But a show with only songs from SOAP would be the death! YAWN!

Honestly, another greatest hits would suck BUT if it’s the only way EMI will release new Rox material, I’ll take it...
Maybe we’ll get lucky and it will be like GT... a new greatest hits with nothing new (so we can all just ignore it!) followed by a spectacular new Roxette album (I can dream, can’t I?) (-:

I guess that’s one of the reasons that Per came to NYC about 2 months ago. Exactly to get a decent Roxette collection released here in US in the upcoming spring (2006). Besides trying to get a deal to release SOAP over here.

I think Per’s PR-people made a mistake. They wanted to gain attention by talking about Roxette, and yes, it worked. BUT: (just talking for myself) Since I know, that there’s a b i g chance for a Roxette-comeback, I’m not interested at all in a SOAP-Tour and the album (at least not so much anymore). I’m just hoping & praying for Roxette to come back. I could imagine, that goes for many people.
If we didn’t know about Roxette, we would be happy and pleased with a SOAP-tour... . I’m kinda sorry, Per... .
