Some of mine:
Madonna: Nothing fails
I’m in love with you, you silly thing
Anyone can see
What it is with you, you silly thing
Just take it from me
It was not a chance meeting
Feel my heart beating
You’re the one...
You could take all this, take it away
I’d still have it all
Cause I’ve climbed the tree of life
And that is why, no longer scared if I fall
When I get lost in space
I can return to this place
Cause, you’re the one...
Nothing fails
No more fears
Nothing fails
You washed away my tears
Nothing fails
No more fears
Nothing fails
Nothing fails
I’m not religious, but I feel so moved
Makes me want to pray, pray you’ll always be here
I’m not religious, but I feel such love
Makes me want to pray
When I get lost in space
I can return to this place
Cause, you’re the one...
I’m not religious, but I feel so moved
I’m not religious, makes me want to pray
I’m not religious, but I feel so moved
Makes me want to pray, pray you’ll always be here
I’m not religious, but I feel such love
Makes me want to pray
Nothing fails
No more fears
Nothing fails
You washed away my tears
Nothing fails
No more fears
Nothing fails
Nothing fails
Nothing fails
No more fears
Nothing fails
You washed away my tears
Nothing fails
No more fears
Nothing fails
Nothing fails
Nothing fails
Nothing fails
No more fears

THE ARK
It takes a fool to remain sane
Whatever happened to the funky race?
A generation lost in pace
Wasn’t life supposed to be more than this?
In this kiss I’ll change your bore for my bliss
But let go of my hand and it will slip on the sand
If you don’t give me the chance
to break down the walls of attitude
I ask nothing of you
not even your gratitude
And if you think I’m corny
then it will not make me sorry
It’s your right to laugh at me
and in turn that’s my oppurtunity
to feel brave
Because ridicule is no shame
Oh, it’s just a way to eclipse hate
It’s just a way to put my back straight
Oh, it’s just a way to remain sane
Every morning I would see her getting off the bus
The picture never drops, it’s like a multicoloured snapshot
stuck in my brain
It kept me sane for a couple of years
as it drenched my fears
of becoming like the others
who become unhappy mothers
and fathers of unhappy kids
and why is that?
’Cos they’ve forgotten how to play
Oh, maybe they’re afraid to feel ashamed
to seem strange, to seem insane
to gain weight, to seem gay
I tell you this
That it takes a fool to remain sane
Oh, it takes a fool to remain sane
Oh, it takes a fool to remain sane
Oh, in this world all covered up in shame
(Oh, take it to the stage)
So, take it to the stage in a multicoloured jacket
Take it jackpot, crackpot, strutting like a peacock
Nailvarnish Arkansas, shimmy-shammy featherboah
Crackpot, haircut, dye your hair in glowing red and blue
Do, do, do what you wanna do
Don’t think twice, do what you have to do
Do, do, do, do, let your heart decide
what you have to do
That’s all there is to find
’Cos it takes a fool to remain sane
Oh, it takes a fool to remain sane
Oh, in this world all covered up in shame
Oh, it takes a fool to remain sane
Oh, it takes a fool to remain sane
Oh, it takes a fool to remain sane
Oh, in this world all covered up in shame
Oh, it takes a fool
(It takes a fool to remain sane)...
AND YOURS?

I hope someone could translate it to English (my English is not so good to do it)

Another one. This is about a dog...
Callejero

And another. This is a very positive one...
Tarde o temprano
(César Banana Puyrredón)
Tarde o temprano
gracias a Dios...

Here it goes another song I like.
Dry County
(Bon Jovi)
Across the border they turn
Water into wine
Some say it’s the devil’s blood
They’re squeezing from the vine
Some say it’s a saviour
In these hard and desperate time
For me it helps to forget
That we’re just born to die
I came here like so many did
To find the better life
To find my piece of easy street
To finally be alive
And I know nothing good comes easy
All good things take some time
I made my bed I’ll lie in it
To die in it’s crime
You can’t help but prosper
Where the streets are paved with gold
They say the oil wells ran deeper here than anybody’s known
I packed up on my wife and kid
And let them back at home
Now there’s nothing in this paydirt
The ghosts are all I know
Now the oil’s gone
The money’s gone
And the jobs are gone
Still we’re hangin’ on
Down in dry county
They’re swimming in the sand
Praying for some holy water
To wash the sins from off our hands
Here in dry county
The promise has run dry
Where nobody cries
And no one’s getting out of here alive
In the blessed name of Jesus
I heard the preacher say
That we are God’s children
And that He’d be back someday
And I hoped that he knew
Something as he drank his cup of wine
I didn’t have too good of a feeling
As I head out to the night
I cursed the sky to open
I begged the clouds for rain
I prayed to God for water
For this burning in my viens
It was like my soul’s on fire
And I had to watch the flames
All my dreams went up in ashes
And my future blew away
Now the oil’s gone
And the money’s gone
And jobs are gone
Still we’re hangin’ on
Down in dry county
They’re swimming in the sand
Praying for some holy water
To wash the sins from off our hands
Here in dry county
The promise has run dry
Where nobody cries
And no one’s getting out of here alive
Men spend their whole lives
Waiting praying for their big reward
But it seems sometimes
The payoff leaves you feeling
Like a dirty whore
If I could choose the way I’ll die
Make it by a gun or knife
‘Cause the other way there’s to much pain
Night after night after night after night
Down in dry county
They’re swimming in the sand
Praying for some holy water
To wash the sins from off our hands
Here in dry county
The promise has run dry
Where nobody cries
And no one’s getting out of here alive.

And finally, one of my favourite lyrics...
I Will Come To You
(Hanson)
When you have no light to guide you
And no one to walk beside you
I will come to you
Oh I will come to you
When the night is dark and stormy
You won’t have to reach out for me
I will come to you
Oh I will come to you
Sometimes when all your dreams may have seen better days
And you don’t know how or why, but you’ve lost your way
Have no fear when your tears are fallin’
I will hear your spirit callin’
And I swear I’ll be there come what may
When you have no light to guide you
And no one to walk beside you
I will come to you
Oh I will come to you
When the night is dark and stormy
You won’t have to reach out for me
I will come to you
Oh I will come to you
‘Cause even if we can’t be together
We’ll be friends now and forever
And I swear that I’ll be there come what may
When the night is dark and stormy
You won’t have to reach out for me
I will come to you
Oh I will come to you
We all need somebody we can turn to
Someone who’ll always understand
So if you feel that your soul is dyin’
And you need the strenght to keep tryin’
I’ll reach out and take your hand.

That song indeed brought a lot of memories back. I’m trying not to choke :). I first heard this song on the radio while in the car with my parents in McDonalds drivethru. It was 1997 and we’d just moved to Canada. I remember I was trying to hide my tears once the song was over but my mom saw it. I bought the single and listening to the song was just so heart-wrenching for me. I’d missed my friends so much. Listening to it now just brings back the memory of those days. It’s a beautiful song. Good choice.

It´s just a excerpt from Shania Twain’s “I Ain’t Goin’ Down” song, and it’s my inspiration for living:
“I’m gonna hold on
Cause what I believe in is so strong
No matter how long, no one
Can tell me I’m wrong
I ain’t goin’ down”...

Here’s some by Depeche Mode:
I don’t want to start any blasphemous rumours
But I think that God’s got a sick sense of humour
And when I die
I expect to find him laughing
(Blasphemous rumours)

DaminehGessle,
It’s a nice lyric indeed. The first time I heard it I was going through a bad moment, I was down and I felt so alone that I used to cry every day. But one day I heard that song (When you have no light to guide you and no one to walk beside you I will come to you...) and for some minutes I had someone by my side. Then I bought the album and I still buy their CDs. Roxette and Hanson are the only bands I have bought all their CDs.

U2
One
Is it getting better
Or do you feel the same?
Will it make it easier on you now
You got someone to blame?
You say
One love, one life
When it’s one need
In the night
One love
We get to share it
It leaves you, baby
If you don’t care for it
Did I disappoint you
Or leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love
And you want me to go without
Well, it’s too late
Tonight
To drag your past out
Into the light
We’re one
But we’re not the same
We get to carry each other
Carry each other
One
Have you come here for forgiveness?
Have you come to raise the dead?
Have you come to play Jesus
To the lepers in your head?
Did I ask too much
More than a lot?
You gave me nothing now
It’s all I got
We’re one
But we’re not the same
We will
We hurt each other
Then we do it again
You say
Love is a temple
Love, a higher law
Love is a temple
Love, the higher law
You ask me to enter
And then you make me crawl
And I can’t be holding on
To what you got
When all you got is hurt
One love
One blood
One life you got
To do what you should
One life
With each other
Sisters, brothers
One life
But we’re not the same
We get to carry each other
Carry each other
One ... one
Uh, uh, uh, oh
Make, make it, make it
Ahh, ahh, oh
Ahh, ahh
And one
Ahh, ahh ... oh
