It’s always good to start a new topic each year from this... who’s done there shopping, who’s started, who’s a last minute running around buyer...
I’v pretty much done, and started to wrap! :) I am one of these who loves to get it over and done with as early as possible!

Ha Ha..... now I need to get it all done before Sweden, for me there is nothing worse than battling the shops in December, and being bogged down on the bus with bags of shopping! just like I ended up doing last year....
I’ve bought Alfie a new snoppy dog bed, his old snoppy bed was a little bit battered.... so I’ve bought a new one!

A few of you know that i like to have parties (see Halloween thread). I have not one but two Xmas house parties this year. The first one on 26th November is a “Pre-Xmas” party and the 2nd one is on 17th December. :-)))))))
I have brought cards and one present and that’s it at the moment. But it is getting scarily close!

I don’t worry about presents... but I’ve just booked a trip to spend Christmas with my mother in Seville and Cordoba :-) Rich

For me I would have to spend christmas somewhere cold.... I can’t imagine waking up to sun on christmas morning!

I’ve actually bought quite a few already.....including some today. The reason being there’s so many cds out in November that I want, so wanted to ensure I could afford them.....and that will leave December pay for remaining pressies. Quite organised for first time in 6 or 7 years. And they’re good presents 2 for folks...happy!

Does someone wanna wrap them for me.... that is the worst of it all!

Yule ain’t happening for me this year. Not as bad in debt as I am with running the risk of losing the place I currenly reside, etc.

I guess my christmas is always kinda small, only my parents, the dogs and a couple of friends to buy for so it’s a pretty cheap one!

I’ve only got 4 people to please but two of them (mother and grandmother) have already got everything (usually twice or three times) so what do you give people who’ve already got everything...
roxgirl_germany said on October 22, 2005 08:19:
The thing with gift vouchers is, do they people find something in the very shop that I have chosen? (Normally you tend to choose one of the shops they like to shop in but then there are periods when you find absolutely nothing, not even there... Then you are in desperate need to get rid of that gift voucher...) That’s why I prefer to give money in that case, then they can do with it whatever they want and are free to choose where and what to buy... (Always these predicaments...)

Only six?
I remember when we’d “rotate”:
Gramma / Granpa
Uncle #1 and his family
Uncle #2 and his family
Aunt #1 and her family
Aunt #2 and her family
My mom, me and my brother.
It always changed.

Well I have done a lot of Christmas shopping over the past weeks, and it’s all in the bedroom in bags needing to be wrapped... I hate wrapping presents!
