eye colour changed?

I have a (weird?) question:

I just noticed that my iris (and Connie’s) color has changed, well, they didn’t really change color but there now seems to be a “border” around the iris, in a darker color than the “inside”, if you know what I mean.

We noticed that yesterday night, and it’s still like this :S

Have u ever experienced that??

Vampires??

Jude: Yes. When I was born, my eyes were a light brown. They never went to the colour of my mom’s eyes (very brown). My eyes started turning hazel when I was 25. Now, it looks like this:

Light brown. When I’m tired, green bleeds through. When I’m really happy, the blue bleeds through. When they turn grey, fill out your last will and testament, cuz you about to get your butt kicked.

old age

Steven: I’m 30 years old... how is my eye colour changing related to old age?

I think Jude’s what... 5 years older than me?

it can also be a sign of liver problems and other medical problems.

Don’t worry, I have the same problem. I never know what eye colour to say I have. I tell people greenish, but they often appear grey/green. I always argue with people over this - everyone insists they are blue until looking closer and are like “hmm” lol They used to be very blue when I was a baby/toddler, but I also used to be really blonde as a kid.

@ LittleSpooky

If not old age, how about stress related?

I have stress in my life, yes.

However, that still doesn’t explain why my eyes are now hazel (light brown predominant). I’m happy with the colour my eyes are.

When I was 25, there was really nothing in my life that was “traumatic, stress inducing” or anything else. I was 3 years into my job, enjoying it very much. My personal life was fairly good

Hate to do this to you, but provide me the scientific proof about stress / old age changin eye colours.

Jude: If you’re REALLY worried, go see a specialist and see what he / she says. If not... don’t sweat it and appreciate the new colouring :o)

I’m 28 :)

Funny or interesting or weird thing is that our eyes changed at the same time :S She has blueish, I have brown eyes..

I have been under stress, I am still. Connie got 30 on Saturday (I doubt this with the age is that fast ;)) ...

Just wanted to know if you had this yourselves. We’ll wait a bit and see what happens, I don’t know if it would be stupid to go to the doctor “erh.. our eye color changed” ...???

Steven: Aaah... nice to see information from a qualified medical professional.

Jude: Okay... I was just going by the qualities of your posts, so I figured you had about 5 years of experience on me :o)

Like I said, if it is such a concern (and no, it’s not stupid), then go to the doctor. The worst that could happen is the bill.

“I was just going by the qualities of your posts, so I figured you had about 5 years of experience on me :o)”

I suppose that’s flattering :P

have you had headaches recently because it can also indicate eye trauma or small hemmorages in or around the optic nerve

yes, but I had the flu/ am having a cold .. I think I will go to the doctor (I was there in June and all was fine), just in case :S

Better than saying that I thought you were like 10 years older than me... so there =Þ ;)

I was born with blue eyes and then they turned green almost overnight when i was 16. Sometimes they go back to being blue :| But mostly they are green. Weird.

What in the world could make a brown eyed girl turn blue?

Jude: Me no likey you right now... YOU SENT ME YOUR COLD!!!!!! =Þ

*grumbles and goes back to bed*

oh no the avian flu!

Mine are still the same colour as when I was born... blue!

Coy: It’s just a damned head cold from the stress I’m under. I’m surprised I don’t have an ulcer.

Pack your paranoia in and get over it... good hell. o_O
