Hope you like - and hope the vocals sound better this time lol - I just wish I had access to a great female vocal like Marie - but I’m afraid you’ll have to make do with my vocals for now!!

p.s. someone suggested I should use the original track vocals as per roxette - so I did this too - I’m not used to making these sort of mashups but here ya go

No that’s cool - I like checking out what people are upto :o)
Actually, I was just browsing an old topic about Fading Like A Flower [rockset] - and someone spoke about a silverblue remix - I had the idea for my Silver Blue version about 4 years ago, but my software at the time was really poor - so I am only just getting round to starting work on my old ideas lol

I’m not a dancefloor-fan, so I won’t listen to these tracks very often.
But nevertheless you did a good job, because you made something new out of it! I think that all those covers in the radio are soooo boring (e.g. Mel C’s “Raining meen”, which is identical to this of the “Weather-Girls”).
But your “Silver Blue” is completely new arranged, so it makes sense.
Roxette should include some fan-mixes in there “20-years roxbox” :-)

I was the one who asked you to keep the original vocal... and I think the result is wonderful! This is a really professional-sounding remix, far better than the horrors inflicted on “FLAF” and “LTYH”... you’ve remained true to the spirit of the original song. I love it. Thanks for sharing this!

Wow thank you all for your lovely comments - I am not totally happy with it though lol - I am not a great producer - I can never get my tracks sounding as loud or polished as real tracks sound - I guess mastering is the hardest thing to learn - and I have a long way to go to learn to equalize everything properly - I wish I knew how but it’s an artform that eludes me at the moment!
I will post some of my original songs soon - the ones inspired by Roxette... I still class them as demos though because I can’t get them TOTALLY right just now.

Okay I want to tell you that a non Roxette fan really loved your cover version (it was my mom). I played it for her in the car.
I like that it is a little dance vesion too! I love dancing, plus it is totally different.
