Which historical person or people would you like to meet and why? :)

(By historical I mean already death and relatively famous...)

Henry The Eighth! ;)

Mel Blanc (the bloke who did the voices of the Warner Bros cartoons) - would like to ask him where the inspiration for all those voices came from and how he managed to keep them so different. Bugs Bunny vs Marvin the Martian!! How??

hiotler so i coudl warn him not to get greedy in his conquest to rule the wrold :)

Enid Blyton.

William Wallace. (for obvious reasons)

@ Neil, who is William Wallace?

He was Braveheart Ally!!

Freddie Mercury

oh so many. Altho, it occurs to me that I’d like to visit a certain *time* rather than a certain someone. hmm, never mind :)

Ahhh I never saw that film!

Yeah Mel Gibson played him in the film with a terrible scottish accent. I have no desire to meet Mel though, just the original scottish hero

Queen Elizabeth I England became one of the most powerful countries in the world during this golden age, we need more strength in our leaders like her.

Sir Laurence Olivier the greatest actor ever.

And David Garrick too.

I’d like to meet Jesus of Nazareth and tell him about all the things done in his name, after he was tortured to death. I doubt that, after listening for a few minutes, he would ever stop vomiting.

I would love to meet Charles Darwin, because I think that his discoveries were the most important and influential for today’s science, and even for philosophy.
Also for the same reason I’d like to meet Isaac Newton.

Jesus Christ

HM The Queen Mother
Sid James
Kenneth Williams
Joan Sims

Yeah some of the Carry On Team would have been so cool! :)

Jesus looks dead buff in some movies made about him.....so would have to b him;-)

Would love 2 have met Gustave Flaubert, one of my fave novelists....French....and boy could he write!

Princess Di!

Anne Boleyn, to ask just what Henry The Eighth was really like.... was he the a$$ they made him out to be!
