Hi
did you try to play your copies on your computer? Did it work? What happened? I didn´t try.
Thanks.

No problems here. But I couldn’t play Mazarin on my NT4 computer at work.

I never even tried to play either of them on my computer - I simply ripped the new songs and the bonus EPs and burnt them all onto one disc - as I recall, there were no difficulties with CDex (the ripper I use).
I’ve only ever found one copy-controlled disc that would not play - Duran Duran’s Astronaut, and that worked on another computer. It all depends on the hardware involved - many CD players can’t play CC discs.

My attempt at copying eventually lead to my computer freezing. In addition to that, the tracks that did make it on my computer had annoying noises in them. Sneaky!

Is the UK Pop Hits copy protected? I got mine from a music store that I thought may have had another version.
IS the UK one protected? I know the Ballad Hits aren’t.

Australian & Canadian TBH are CP free. There may be others. Taiwan TPH is CP free [This is the one that comes in the slip case]
want to play CP Cd’s
Simply disable Autoplay on your drive then open your player and it will play the cd. this stops the software from loading.

do you listen wih windows media player or with its own player??
cos if you can listen it only with its own player –it means that the quality is bad and it means–there is a problem with copyprotected cd.

with any player. the last track on the cd is a data track with all the songs ripped at 128 or less, [Except for the Oz Pop hits which is at 192 I think]. So if you play it in it;s own player you are getting compressed music.

It plays anyway. I didn’t have any problem doing that. I tranferred them into mp3 files too...
