I mean, sure, it doesn’t make you think like e.g. my beloved Lost (like one of the moderators of my favourite Lost board wrote - there’s nothing better to help strengthen loyalties than a board the cast and crew post on *g*), but I’d never go as far as calling Friends an IQ reducer - it’s a comedy, after all, it’s supposed to entertain you and make you laugh, nothing more, nothing less! And I still think Friends was really good at that, I’d even go as far as calling it one of the best, if not the best, comedies made in the US of the past decade...
And yes, I’m a fan, but I think that was rather obvious, wasn’t it? ;-) As for Joey: while it’s not the best new show of last season, there certainly are worse shows, but I do miss the rest of the gang! There’s just something missing without the Joey/Chandler-interaction and IMHO, they failed to find a real substitute for that so far. *hopes next season will be better*

The episodes on the beach house and in London are the best for me. Every character has its something but Phoebe is a stand out.
I also enjoy Joey very much. It’s so much fun. But on the other hand i know it’s poor and bad. Either way that’s one of the only moments of the week. i forget about everything and just relax and laugh.

Yeah.....have all 10 series on DVD. My partner won’t let me watch them now in front of him cos I can quote them all, teehee. Not the best comedy in the world.......probably Kath & Kim or Sex and the City win that accoldae for me.....but it’s great quality telly and isn’t Jen Aniston just one of the most amazingly gifted actresses? Her comic timing and emotional range are inspiring!

Yeah!, I totally agree with you. The one of Phoebe doing a video is real fun, it was the video to “Smelly cat”. It was funny because when she recorded it in the studio, she did it with her acoustic guitar, but finally in the video clip, you could hear it full of instruments as if it had been arranged by someone else.
