Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy

Any other fans of Douglas Adams? Hitchhiker’s and Dirk Gently. . .
I just reread all five books in the trilogy from HGTTG through Mostly Harmless (probably the third time through for each of the books—this time in order, though.) Life, The Universe, and Everything and Mostly Harmless were the best. The other three—however much I do enjoy them, are rather thin on plot. (The first two should have been one book, really.) But as a start to finish exercise, they hold together nicely.
The film was enjoyable, although I think having read the novels, you’d get more out of the film. Good casting, fairly faithful to the books aside from a fairly large addition in the middle (which to book could have used) and an odd change with the ending.
