Can someone tell me what the difference is between a ’middle-8’ and a ’bridge?’ :P

ahh cool, thanks - I knew what a middle-8 was, but was a little murkey on bridge.

Its also called the middle 8 cos its 8 bars long.
A good example is the middle 8 in June afternoon:
there’s a painter painting this materpiece/
there’s some squirrels jumpin’ in the trees/
there’s a white apple and a red balloon/
all my life I’ve longed for this laughter
Don’t know if the lyrics are exact but you get the idea!
oam.

yes, there‘s a wide-eyed boy with a red baloon/ all my life I‘ve longed for this afternoon! A very beautiful middle-eight
good middle-eights is one of what I love Roxette for/

Bridge is the part that goes right after or before a chorus (99% of the time before).
Middle-8 is the part that leads from the 2nd chorus to the last chorus. It’s called a middle-8 because it doesn’t really have the same arrangement as anything else in the song.
