StillFar: yes, the Cano brothers are really good writing/composing. My favourite album is Descanso Dominical, I love Mujer contra Mujer (love it!!), La fuerza del destino, Heroes de la antartida, ... and then Hijo de la Luna.. and many more :)
Santi said on March 11, 2005 21:42:
My fav of Mecano is “No es serio este cementerio”. It’s just fun :D
I tend to prefer songs written by José María Cano, though some of the words are quite pretentious.
By the way, have you noticed that in the beginning of “Héroes de la Antártida” the speaker makes a huge mistake saying “Punto de latitud cero”/(point of latitude zero) :D. 0º latitude is the equator, the South pole is 90ºS!!!
I like classical music very much
Other pop bands and artists that I like and listen to, some of them even more than Roxette are:
- The Stone Roses
- Oasis
- The Corrs
- Duncan Dhu
- Eva Braun
- V
- Kasia Kowalska
- Kent
- Tom Petty
- The Byrds
- The Kinks
- The Beatles
- Crowded House (or anything related to Neil Finn)
- Bluvertigo
- Vama Veche
- Irina Florin
- Dino Merlin
... I should stop it, but there are many more :D

Indigo Girls are my favorite band. I’ve been to more than 50 shows and I have a website full of shows that I have booted and pictures that I’ve taken. I bet few here have heard of them! They aren’t well known, but I love them anyway! Here’s my website in case anybody is curious about them: http://www.worldfalls.com
Indigo Girls aside, I also love Bryan Adams (I’ve been a huge fan since 1984), Billy Joel, John Mellencamp, Elton John, Rod Stewart, and Shania Twain. I’m very in to the Danish bands Raveonettes, Saybia, Swan Lee and Carpark North.

Kasia Kowalska???????? This polish singer?? How?? :-)
Nice, I like her too :)
Santi said on April 1, 2005 11:28:
Oh yes, she’s great! :D When I was living in Sweden I had some polish neighbours and one of them disliked Roxette and told me I should listen to better things. So I told her: “Ok, lend me the best Polish CD you have”.
And she lent me ’5’ by Kasia Kowalska. And it was so great :DDD
The funny thing is that back in Spain some of my friends believed that she was Marie Fredriksson singing some non-English stuff.
Kama said on April 1, 2005 12:25:
