The Corrs, Rammstein, Marie Fredriksson (She wasn’t mentioned in the question!), Kim Wilde, Ace Of Base, No Doubt, t.A.t.U, Pink, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Depeche Mode, Limp Bizkit, Heather Nova, Within Temptation.
Most 80’s music is ok.
Depends on the mood which music I turn on, usually I don’t play for example. Marie Fredriksson and Rammstein directly after each other.
No Dance/ Hip-Hop/ R&B.
And absolutely NO COVERS!!

What other music? That is an excellent question. I am old – see my logon ID – and have been exposed to a LOT of music. For a long time, my stepkids pelted me with questions, What is your favorite song, your favorite group, your favorite movie, your favorite book? After awhile, if you expose yourself to enough of these artistic creations, you realize that you like so many of them that none is your particular favorite – they are not competing with one another; art and music are not competition.
One problem with having a favorite song, for instance, is that you might listen to it so often that the words become meaningless, the melody boring. I have taken great care with Roxette material to NOT allow that to happen – they are simply too superb, to allow myself to get burned out with their work. I almost did this with “Crash! Boom! Bang!” which would have been a tragedy, since that album represents a summit of exemplary lyrical/musical expression.
Oh yeah, to answer the question? Pretty much anything but rap. “Rap”... they ALMOST spelled it correctly, just left off the C at the beginning!

The Clash, Kent, Eva Dahlgren, Slade, Håkan Hellström, Oasis, Metallica, Twisted Sister, Tom Petty, David Bowie, The Beatles, Abba, Blondie, Queen, Herman’s Hermits, The Smiths...
Music style doesen’ matter that much. For me it’s very important that the performer has also made the song. I can’t stand artists like Celine Dion, Britney Spears etc, cos they don’t make their music, they just sing.
Jud (moderator) said on January 24, 2005 18:59:
Mari: I am with you, I prefer artists who write their own songs. At least HALF of it..
harriej said on January 24, 2005 20:53:
@Oldag75: Do you mean that you are old because you are from 1975?
No reason to feel old, I am from 1972.
Or otherwise your nickname is not clear enough (for me).
Anyway, no matter how old you are, it is good to have people here of different ages and to know all opinions.

Well, girls and guys! I can see here are those who like t.A.T.u.
I’ve got some nice news for you:)
Yulya and Lena (t.A.T.u.) are recording new album:)
There will be two versions: English and Russian.
The songs were written by Galoyan and Polyenko, the same authors who wrote for the previous album.

hmmm...interesting. I though they split up. Or was it just a rumour?
eBay said on January 25, 2005 14:58:
No, they indeed have split up. I think if this here is true and they are working on another album at the moment, it is just to make more money out of all the hype there was about them when they first came out. Okay, I must admit, to this day I really like the song, all the things... Its very original.
coyboyusa said on January 25, 2005 15:45:
ugh their novelty is so over, why can’t we just have credible gay artists step up and be heard
RoxHard said on January 26, 2005 04:40:
You have George Michael, Elton John, Justin Timberlake... OOOPS! Shouldn’t have let that last one out of the bag ;-)
RuRoxLove said on January 26, 2005 12:57:
They never splited, that was just rumour.
They just made a timeout because Yulia was preparing to become mother (now she’s already mom of a girl) and they had many money scandals with their producers. So, they just stopped working with their former producer Ivan, but the press got that like their split... NO! They never splited! they even have saved their authors and musitians:)

@RuRoxLove, are you sure about t.A.T.u.?
And by the way do you know if they’re still working with Elena Kiper (now in Nichya)?
RuRoxLove said on January 29, 2005 00:39:
@Roxlad: yes, I’m sure about t.A.T.u. Almost everything is ready for the new album and it’ll be recorded in the USA in February.
No, they don’t work with Elena Kiper any more. And they don’t work with Ivan Shapovalov any more. Elena Kiper has got her own solo project and the duo Nichya, she was also producing some other projects, not very successfully.
Ivan Shapovalov is producing now a new excentric project called NATO.
t.A.T.u’s got a new prioducer, but they saved their autors (Galoyan and Polienko) and musicians.
Last week t.A.T.u were performing on MTV-Russia and made an interview.

Hey guys! What kind of music do you use to listen to except from Roxette/GT/Per?
I use to listen at many things, but Roxette is number 1 ofcourse ;)
But, I like Bryan Adams and besides I use to listen at latinamerican singers, like Pedro Suárez Vértiz, Gian Marco, Franco De Vita and more. I think you from Latin/south America knows what singers I mean.
It would be fun to see what you use to listen at when you don’t listen at Roxette/Gt/Per ;)
