Cooper-a boy or a girl?

well i thought the first time this song was a bout a man but acording to the lyrics...is it a girl?

female

“Cooper went out late last night, I heard the slam from HER door...”

“Cooper went out walkin’ the clouds, SHE left everything in a mess...”

“HER words were always so small...”

There’s heaps of sentences in the lyrics that refer to “her” or “she”, etc.

Once PER said that when people hear “COOPER”, they think of a man. So HE decided to create something different.

WHY do you always CAPITALIZE some WORDS in your replies? For instance PER, MARIE and ROXETTE. It makes your posts hard to read, I think.

cooper is a stiff drink, that is, an alchohol-containing drink, like beer or wine, well, any stiff drink can be called a “cooper “. “Cooper went out ” means that it, eeh, ended up or finished; in other words, the narrator in the song ran out of his wine or what was there.

^^ I like your point of view!

Cheers - small word,
walking the clouds and leave everything in a mess - drunk.

This song suddenly changed (for me at least)

It’s a great missunderstood song ... brillant and touching so sad but beautiful... a pearl! Period!

Tev: arrgghhh THANKYOU for pointing that out about Auryte’s posts with capitals, drives me CRAZY too!!!!! What IS that about?

Wow, I’m not alone! It’s pretty annoying IMHO...

@Auryte: I don’t know if you’re aware of that, but using capital letters is the online equivalent of shouting!

someone feeling CHEEKY today TEV....? ;-P
Best wishes, oam//

Hehe... it’s kinda like me always ending with 2 exclimation marks!! Sometimes with the question mark inbetween... oh how we are animals of habit!?!
