Oh Wow! What great news!!! That is amazing news for Marie!!!! Wouldn’t it be amazing if she would chart in the German charts? Per didn’t even chart with his english solo album in Germany and if I remember correctly, no radio station ever played any of his solo songs!!!
How do they advertise her album in Germany? As Marie Fredriksson, female singer of Roxette??

I don’t think TC will make it into the charts, at least not this week - many shops only have a couple of copies, if they have it at all (I went to two shops yesterday and all I found was ONE copy hidden in the “F”-stash...)! And if they do have it, it’s usually rather expensive... :-( How are people supposed to buy an album if they can’t find it?

Maybe because the CD of the week never gets mentioned on the homepage except for under “On Air now” on the frontpage when the show they play the album in is on? ;-)

@moin: Well, this isn’t exactly a high-profile release - Capitol Music Germany doesn’t seem to be spending any more money on promotion than absolutely necessary (meaning they sent out promo CDs to radio stations and that’s about it!) - so no one really expected this album to have any effect on the charts at all, especially with all the “important” releases coming out right now...
BTW, I think it caught most of us by surprise when we found out about TC being “CD of the week” on not only one, but at least FOUR radio stations!

Offensichtlich hat es sich für Marie gelohnt, den weichgespülten Roxette-Kollegen Per Gessle erst mal abzuschütteln.
“Obviously it was worth for Marie to get rid of the softly-washed Rox-colleage Gessle” ??
(softly washed= with such soap you use to wash clothes soft :P)
