Awesome Judes... thanx for pointing that out!! :)

lol i posted that at R2R like.... hmm..... 6 (!) days ago :P

I ordered the CD last week and my housemate phoned me in work to let me know, it arrived today, I am counting the hours, yes even the minutes to go home!!! The last time I was this excited about a new release, it was on the 4th of April, 1994. It was the release date of Crash Boom Bang!

Is it worth being that excited for Maries CD?? Can anyone suggest what song to listen to first??

LOL Xarrr, sorry, I missed it :O

I don’t visit r2r forum everyday and when I do.. I sometimes don’t look back in time or in other forums besides the general... ah well, for those who missed it :D

lol no worries ;)

@moin: “Bad Moon” if you’ve never heard it before, otherwise, I’d listen to it in its proper order. Enjoy!

Yeah... this is a MF album; listen to it from the beginning... MF record great songs... see makes GREAT albums!! (That’s the big difference between Per & her music!!)

Guys, I had the highest expectations for Maries new Album and I must say, I have not been disapointed! My fav song has to be, ’a table in the sun’. What an amazing an touching song! In my humble opinion, it is her best song ever!
Another thing I have noticed, the songs she has written herself, are my favs of the Album, not that the other ones are bad, I just think that her songs are better and I wish she would have written the whole album herself and just have her hubby produce them... but I am still extremely happy with the end results. :-)

Agree with you - HER songs are the best by far!!

i have mixed feelings on this.....i wouldnt go as far as to say her songs are better than Mickes. I think as fans her songs mean more, because they are more personal, and we feel like she is giving us a piece of her. But the more i listen to the album, the more i am also grateful for Mickes contribution....some of his songs are fantastic, and some like Mother, you could never tell were not written by Marie. I think its great that they made this whole thing together as a married couple in love. They’ve been through all of this together, and having Micke contribute doesnt really make it any less personal. I think his songs add something really special to the album as a lot of them are more upbeat and rocky...a style which suits Maries voice perfectly

I agree with ncurran, first I thought “hm.. half of the album is by Micke” but then I felt like one could not really distinguish (sp?) what Marie and what Micke had written, it really feels like they wrote the album together, worked on it together, using ideas from both.. somehow it feels as if they themselves don’t know who wrote what and they just splitted it “this you, this me” :D:D

Yeah, you’re right, I love Micke’s songs.
But there is something about April Snow and A table in the sun that makes them more personal and for me even more special than Micke’s songs are IMHO.

its rather easy to tell maries songs apart from mickes, micke has per itis...the necessity to have tons of rhyming couplets in hi songs somerthing per did way too much of on room servicer. You can also tell that the album was recorded in 2 different sessions. I really wish she had left the micke songs off as b-sides they are rather well not marie. I would have love to have had the missing demos as album trackesa, especially all I ever wanted which i think is the best thing she’s written ever
