Which songs will we get...

...in the upcoming Marie documentary? I’m hoping for live performances of “The Change,” “The Good Life,” “Mother,” “April Snow,” and “A Table in the Sun”... I think we can assume that at least one of the performances will be “2nd Chance.” What do you think?

It would be cool to see her ctually performing whole songs, but for some reason I am rather expecting some snippets/ short visits at the studio during the recordings. I also had this discussion with my friend - what do you think the programme will be like? A musical journey through Maries career up to now, or rather an interview focused on her “new” life, the struggle for recovery- the second chance she got from someone above and the way she’s been coping with obstacles?

@Rich: There’s a passing mention of “exclusive performances” in this article:

...I guess that could mean just about anything. In any case, I’m keeping my fingers crossed (-:

its probably most likely it will be a couple of the tracks that have a live band feel to them, songs like all you’ve gotta do is feel, love 2 live, many times, the good life.
They might include some snippets of her recording other tracks, but if it includes whole performances, then these songs would be the most likely candidates because of their already live feel

@ncurran: I agree... the songs you named (all Bolyos songs besides the cover, aren’t they?) have that “live in the studio” feel to them making them good candidates for the performances. But I hope it’s the ones I listed instead :-D

The Good life is a cover version
i’d love to hear her singing table in the sun...in the documentary...as well as the bolyos songs, maybe they will choose one of maries that has the more personal autobiographical feel to it, considering the nature of the documentary....we can only hope....as well as hoping we will even get to see this bloody documentary

Some songs have been recorded “live” for the album, so I guess that will be the songs that we get! :)

I just imagined that the documentary was an interview - so you think that there will be performances as well? All the best, Rich
