Of course the rare version is the Japanese one which has a totally different sleeve and is named Sweden Live. The ZA version is named Look sharp live but it has the same tracks as SL and has nothing to do with the European version of Look sharp live VHS which, among some live songs, contains videoclips. Now... I know this may be a little confusing!!!!!

No... actually not so cheap and is extremely RARE!! It was only available for a short period of time... thereafter the European import version replaced it!! Besides my personal copy, I’ve only seen it once and that was about a month ago!!

I didn’t know that the EU version replaced it so surely that’s the cheap one!!!! Anyway would you have a second look for me and see if you find it? I’d be very gratefull!!! PS... of course if there’s anything I can do for you just tell me...

in 1989 two videos came out. One was called ’Sweden Live’ and it was the recording of the Look Sharp Tour. It has 10 tracks among which there is for ex. Neverending Love. All of them are live. This video was available on both VHS and LD in Japan and included b/w backstage footage.
The same video came out (only on VHS) in South Africa but instead of Sweden Live it had the name ’Look Sharp Live’ and the cover was different (nearly the same as the European LS Live).
The second video was of course the ’Look Sharp Live’ videotape we all know... the one that has both live tracks and some videoclips like ’Silver Blue’...
So these two tapes are totally different.

@tev, I would prefer the Jap VHS but yes, even the LD will be ok if it comes with its orginal OBI. I’m not sure if Jap VHS’s have got OBI’s.....?????

“Sweden Live” Laserdisc will be on ebay.de from Thursday, 11th until 21st of November 2004. I will include many photos. Including OBI-Strip. This disc has never been played and looks like new (since I don’t have a LD-Player; it was just for my collection).
